Arcus held me from my arm to lead the way. My world was still so dark. The more I tried imagining the reality, the more it looked worse, and it only became harder for me to picture it. Before going out, I could feel Noah rushing toward me and stopped me.

-Jade… Take care of yourself little shorty. Okay?

I smiled as I heard his words.

-I’m fine, don’t worry.

Arcus and I went outside to hop on the old vintage vehicle. It was an old school red Chevrolet Chevelle, model 1970 or 1973. With some scratches from all of the accidents he has made for those past years because of his fast driving especially when he country rock music starts on the radio. He opened the door for me, and placed me inside the car. Then he sat next to me and started the engine.

-So… Before going anywhere, we’ll have to go to your house so you’d get some supplies. The only problem here is that I don’t know where it exactly is. Then, you have to lead the way.

-You can use the GPS actually. I’ll just tell you my exact address, and it would lead the way instead of a me who’s now a blind person, hehehe.

-Don't forget that I'm such an old man, so I seriously don’t know how the hell you use those stuffs! But, I can try. Yet, I think that my old phone doesn’t have this GP something of yours.

-It’s GPS Arcus, but anyways, I can give you my phone then.

I putted my hand inside my pocket, and reached my phone. Turned it on and unlocked it with my fingertip. I gave it to Arcus, and told him to search for it on the navigator.

-Don’t you have some kind of password or something?! Aren’t you afraid that anyone can go into it that easily?!

-I do have a password, but it’s more like a data that remembers my fingertip every time I click on the screen. So no one can go throughout my phone other than me.

-Wow, that’s cool. I think Imma get one for me too, when I’ll ever want to buy one, I’ll bring you with me. Deal?

-Deal. I said. So is it done yet? Can I now tell you my address?

-Oh yeah, I’m listening.

I told him the address, and then the application started showing him the way to my house. I opened the window with that hand on the bottom of the door, which I had some difficulties to find. The wind was blowing on my face. I could still feel the sun, some few flashlights was entering my eyes, but it was not enough to clear my view. I laid my head on the back and relaxed for a while.

-Feels good, right? That moment when the wind is touching your face. You know, you can let your hand out a bit so you could feel it curves more. I’m sure you’d like it.

I have done as my second father told me. That sensation when all of the air was on my hands, they were freezing even though all this hot weather. I was moving my hand in a shape of a wave… Just like when I was a small kid. When I used to go out with dad while he was going to the store, or going to meet some friend to play chess or some intellectual game that seemed boring for most of the kids but was one of the most enjoying things for me to watch. When he made me sit in the front even though I was only eight years old. When mom used to get super worried that, one day, some cop will catch us and give my dad with some alerts or maybe he would take off some points from his driving license. I never wanted that to happen, but it was a privilege for me to sit in the front. It felt as if I was a grown up already. It may be a simple thing that does not actually have any value, but for me it was more than this. I was indeed afraid of growing up, because of how many responsibilities and tasks I would be obliged to do. I always thought that being an adult was boring. Yet, I envied it so much, same as any kid would do.

After some couple of minutes, the car started to slowing down; until it parked and fully stopped. The driver’s door was open and so did mine. I got off and stood there waiting for Arcus. He then locked the car and stood next to me.

-So, what’s the number of the building, and the number of the house.

-It’s building n°36, apartment n°4.

-Après vous mademoiselle. He said with some gentleman tone.

I let a laugh out. It is so nice to have people who helps you when you are going through hard ships.

He held me from my arm same as how he did all this day all along with Noah. We passed by the small garden, I could smell the odor of plants and flowers near us. We went up by some few stairs to reach the building door. Then now, problems has started. We went by the stairs of two floors with extra care. As if we were on slow motion. When we reached my house, I started fetching for my keys. Where the hell have they went to?! I used to always loose them, and It has always been a hard task for me to find them every time I need them. And now I cannot even see what I am doing, neither what lands on my hand.

-Can’t you find your keys? Asked Arcus.

-I don’t know, I guess I’ve putted them somewhere in here. I started searching inside my bag.

-Did you look for them in the pocket of the outside?

-Eh!

He then took the bag from my hands, and started looking into it.

-Found them! Finally. Now which one of those colorful keys is the door’s one.

My keys were actually all painted with nail polish. With my short memory, at first I used to forget which one was the right. So I painted them depending on the feeling I had for the place.

-It’s the light pink one. I said.
