Quinn Maives Oliva Pov

New day for new environment, I hate to accept changes but these changes can make her proud of me, and that’s more important for me. It’s my first day but all I can see when I got downstairs ws her with her ipad doing some work like she loved to do.

I didn’t wear my uniform since the school will provide itself, I was enrolled in Atlanta University. I took the course business management since it what I was told to take by CEO Emerald, to make he company even better.

“Good morning Quinn”- my Dad greeted me with a smile on his face

“Good morning Dad, CEO”- I greeted them both but unlike Dad, she didn’t smile to me. She just take a glance at me then back at her thing

“Are you ready for your first day Quinn?”- my Dad asked

“Kind of”- I simply replied then take a bite of bacon then a sip of my usual coffee

“Did you read the books I’ve gave you? It will help you to your chosen course”- she simply asked without looking at me

“Ahm. Yes, I already did”- I lied of course. I didn’t even open it, I already have a tutor on summer, and then whe wants me to read that bunch of books. I felt like my brain is already dried and don’t have anything to process if I were to read that book.

“Good.”- She said then took a sip of her tea “Hurrp up, I’ll take you to your school.”- She commanded, I didn’t say anything but I finish u my coffee then followed her.

I immediately took my bag and I bid my goodbye kiss to my Dad, he just smiled and put a smile on his face to say that everything will be fine.

“Are all your things packed up?”- She ask while walking towards the front door where our driver is waiting for us

“Yes”- I replied

The ride was not that long, but we didn’t even manage to talk. She was busy scanning the mnthly chart for our business, I was quite irritated by the site I saw, but then I just look away.

“The driver and bodyguards will pick you up later, make sure to call them when your dismissed”- She said, and I just nod to to her command. And she manage to fix my loose strand hair “Bye”- She bid her byes before I got out of car

I waited in the car to lost in my sight before I took a deep breathe then sigh. I’m used to this new kid at new school thing, actually I don’t want to go to school, I prefer to sleep.if I could make the time fast, I would so just I would go home. I prefer to stay at home, even though the house that I lived in is lifeless. I took a few steps until the entrance of the school, I let my eyes wonder the whole school itself.

“Are you lost?”- I was stunned to someone ask at my back

“No, I’m just new”- I honestly answered

“I thought so. I am going to Registrar to get my schedule, wanna come?”- well not bad for a fisrt day, someone already offer me for a help.

We walked together, I don’t know what am I doing but I let my eyes wonder the place, it’s beautiful and I don’t know, maybe pleasing to my eyes. I didn’t expect to see a lot of people on it’s first day, maybe because it’s the only day to get your schedule in the Rigestrar.

Base on the research I did on Atlanta University, they have coverd court, swimming pool for swimming class, baseball diamond ground, volleyball court, they also have a room for pingpong. But what makes me more excited is there social hall for music and dance.

Although I didn’t took any course connectd for the music and arts, I’m just fan.

We stopped infront of the registrar, he was the one who took his schedule first, since I can’t hear what the registrar talking about, the place was a mess. It feels like there were a chaos all over the place, it’s so noisy and it’s irritating in fact. I don’t care what they are talking about, I’m a;ready glad that someone was already nice on my first day to offer me a help. The less people I know, the better.

“Maives Oliva”- I said at the lady inside the registrar office, she look at the monitor then check my name on her booklet before giving me a piece of paper

“Here is your schedule Ma’am”- She nicely said to me

“Ahm, Ms? Can I ask when can I have my uniform?”- I ask her

“After two weeks Ma’am. Your professor will personally ask you, for you to have your uniform”- She said and I just nod to her then smiled before I walked away.

“Okay then, thank you”- I said

I want to thank that guy who helped me earlier, but the moment I turned he was already gone. It’s so unfortunate that I didn’t get to know his name if ever we saw eachother again I got the chance to say my thanks to him. He was so kind to talk and help me.Well, what do I expect from guys, they used to be friendly to the point that many people think they were already flirting. I’m not saying all of them are like that. I’m just saying most of them are friendly and approachable.

I was busy reading my schedule while walking, cause I tend to find my room also. I was so busy when my phone suddenly rang. I fold my paper before I took my phone from my pocket.

*In Call*

“Yes?”- I answered

“How are you?”- He immediately ask, I know he was grinning right now just by the tone of his voice

“Don’t ask”- I was also laughing at myself while making face, I know he won’t see it but I can’t help it “When are you coming?”- I asked

“That’s a surprise my princess, I’ll just keep in touch”- I know he is still grinning, since he likes to tease me a lot

“Does she know?”- I asked him

“Well, it’s not important, I was tend to ask how are you”- I just smile when I heard that

“Okay then, I’m here at school and I’m still finding my room”- I boredly said to him while walking still finding my room.

“My baby princess is still sassy as she is, well although I really want to talk to you all day, but you know I can’t, I still need to finish my work. But dn’t worry the sooner I finished this the sooner I could get back to you”- I was gleeing for joy inside when I heard those

“I understand, just take good care of your self.” – I said

“I will.so do you, just don’t mind her. If your tired, take a rest. I love you”- He said to me

“Thank goodness I saw you again”- I still didn’t finish what I was tend to response him when someone grab me and make me turn around.
