13 Chapter Thirteen: Her Sit In Classmate

The Chem instructor started his lesson when someone interrupted. The guy entered the class suddenly and asked the instructor to sit in their class. Maybe because he was absent from the morning class where he belongs to.

When she noticed the guy's face, she remembered him. He was the guy. The guy that she was looking for in the entire Science department last time.

The only thing that she noticed, she can clearly see his face now. He is no longer wearing his cap. And today, he looks normal and realized he has a handsome face.

When he was about to look for an empty seat, he suddenly saw an empty chair beside her left. As he noticed her staring at him, his eyes fell on her the moment he walked near the empty seat.

She avoided his gaze and get into her stuff. She feigned while browsing the page of the book that she was reading earlier.

"It seems you're okay now. Have you completed your rest?" Is he talking to her? Well, she's the only one besides him who is not busy talking with the others.

"Yes, I am. Why so concerned?" She reacted to him, feeling curious.

"Um, because I saw you looking terrified, sitting on the floor in the middle section of the library. And you fainted before I went into you. What happened to you that time?" Now she realized what happened to her after the incident of hiding with the stalker.

"So, you're the one who found me? And the one who brought me to the hospital, am I right?" And this person is the one Jean referring to as her dream man. How strange.

"Well, yeah. I'm also the one who gave you the flower last time at the park. I apologize for not introducing myself early. My name is Vince. And you are?"

"Cara. This is for the acknowledgment for helping me brought to the hospital." She reacted coldly because she suddenly had this second thought. This person can also be the one she's suspecting as her stalker.

"How did you find me?" She asked him after wondering.

"Maybe because I was in the library. Just kidding, I'm working in the library as a student part-timer. I was there stacking up the pile of books when I saw you fainted." Well, he has an alibi.

I looked at him again and checked him out. I scanned his character as if he really was saying the truth. When their eyes met, she suddenly thought about the stalker who's watching her while in the library. Even if she suspects him, she can't remember the details of those eyes, as she noticed it a little late.

"Oh, I see. Anyway, thank you for your kindness." She said and went back to her thing. What will happen now? She already knew the guy who brought her to the hospital. The only thing left is the man behind the book section in the library who was stalking her. Is he Mr. Smith? But why did she feel like she's being afraid of him?

"Hey Cara, can I have your number?" This guy is something. He spoke to her casually.

"Are we close?" But she reacted unfriendlily.

"Um, since you're the only one I know here. You know, I need to cope with our project presentation next meeting." He purposely reasoned.

"But you're not in this class." She snapped.

"Yes, but I already talked to our professor that I will change my schedule for a personal matter." He reasoned again. And this time is a valid reason.

And because of his eagerness, she gives up and gave him her number.

Though she knows, this guy has something on her.

After she gave him her number, he immediately dialed his phone and called her. She's not a scam to give him a false number. As she thought so.

"Just want to make sure if this is really your number. Sort of being prudent." What an ass. She thought so and raised her eyebrow.

"I'm not a scam. I can avoid your number if I want to. Since I just knew it." She said, annoyingly.

"You know what, you 're kind of cute." Instead of being annoyed, he just complimented her.

She's about to react to him but the bell rang, and the class has ended. She thought she will not see him again, but here he is. He became her classmate.

She walked out of their classroom immediately after she kept her things in her bag. She wants to avoid the guy who talked to her the whole time while the professor was lecturing them because she felt strange about his presence.

But when she looked back and see if the guy was following her, she sees nothing but her other classmates who also walking out of their classroom. When she thought about it, he was fast enough to know when the hell he went out.

"Are you looking back at me? I waited for you here when I thought it will take some time for you to keep your things in your bag. So, I went out first because I need to go to the comfort room quickly."

She thought, he's gone but here he is again. She looks like she found a firefly dashing in front of her with its glowing light, then it will disappear after she lost her eyes on it, then went back again when she looks for it.

"I wasn't looking for you. I looked back to see our professor because I have some questions to ask." But she doesn't think he would believe her. She just said her reason not to be caught.

"You and your pretty defense mechanism. I look forward to the rest. See you tomorrow." He just said and walked out first.

How dare he. She admits it. She felt like she kind of interested in him. But there is a thing in her mind that she felt something unusual about him. She doesn't know what is it. But it's kind of strange.
