6 Chapter Six: Paradise in City

"Where are we going, Mister?" She asked him when she noticed their way to nowhere.

"So you called me Mister?" He ignored her question and just reacted like he remembered the last time she said to him about giving him a nickname.

"Wrong answer! My question is, "Where are we going?". She clearly repeated her question.

"I'm calling you Mister because you are so mysterious to even have a nickname. So, why bother?" She said to him annoyingly though she still explained her answer to his obvious reaction.

"We're here." He just smiled sweetly and ignored her annoyed expression. They stopped walking suddenly. So she looked around the place.

This place is just a paradise. She didn't notice it at first because her eyes were staring at the man who was holding her hand.

"Where are we?" she asked again, but to herself curiously.

She woke up suddenly from the moment she was looking for a clue from her dream. What she saw is a place where there is a secret garden in the middle of the city.

"Wait, city? Secret garden?" Yes, it was a city because she saw skyscrapers surrounding the place. There was a secret garden inside those skyscrapers.

She was there, along with that mysterious man she met in her dreams. She took her notepad and wrote the clues she got. The place is familiar, but she can't picture the exact location.

"Yes Jean, do you know where is that kind of place?" She spoke to Jean on the phone after a moment of reflecting on her strange dream.

"I don't think so, I will look into it." As Jean did not know yet, maybe she must search for it on her own. So, she finds it through internet.

"Gotcha! I found it! There is really a place like this in reality." The place is near her location. She did not know that there is a place like that in here. Oh, that's why it was familiar. She often passed by this place whenever she went to university.

She went to the place where the location of her dream was. She doesn't even think she had memories in here. This is the first time she went here.

She looked around and maybe she could meet the mysterious guy in her dream. However, there are many people walking around the place.

This place is just a tourist spot in the middle of the city. She sees some couples who are dating in this kind of romantic place. She also sees some groups of teenagers and some families enjoying the ambiance of the garden.

When she remembered her dream, the situation was not like this. In her dream, the only human being she had seen was him. No one was there except her and that mysterious man.

Or maybe because it was just a dream, and this is the reality. What the heck is she thinking? Expectation vs. reality have collided with one another.

The natural surroundings are all replicas of each other. The only difference is the noise and the people touring around the place.

In her dream, it's like a movie that only the guy and she are the main characters. There were no extras. And the serenity was there.

She went back home, still contemplating her dreams. But she needs to go back to her senses and get back into reality as a university student.

She prepared herself for today's classes so she gets into her car and drove fast because she will be late for her first period. She arrived at school before time and still has ten minutes, so she still has time to go into her locker to get her things first before going to her today's class.

When she opened her locker, she noticed a white envelope on top of her belongings. She thinks this is just another love letter from a random guy who wants to pick on her. However, she noticed the handwriting of her name written on it.

It was some kind of familiar. She took the letter and put it inside her bag. She will read it later because her ten minutes were up. The bell rang suddenly and all the students in the corridors who were scattering earlier are disappearing one by one.

She went into her class and sat on the chair, which was empty. And the only empty chair is at the back end of the classroom. She noticed a couple beside her left flirting with each other.

And on her right side is a loner guy wearing a cap that shielded his face and ripped jeans that completed his weird character. Therefore, she concludes that she really belongs to this class. Well, she just thinks she's also a weird one.

The class has begun. And the professor was kind of boring, as she felt a kind of lethargic. The loner guy on her right side offered his cap for her to shield her face and to have a nap as she thinks he noticed her as her eyes were sleepy.

However, she did not accept his kind gesture and just ignored him. When he removed his cap, she had a glance at his face. His face was familiar, but she did not clearly see the whole details as he wore his cap again.

The class has ended as the bell rang. She was about to have a talk with the loner guy after the class, but he disappeared fast. Well, she may see him again tomorrow.

She went home early to rest on her sleepyhead. Because she had a long day. She lay down on her bed yet she suddenly remembers the letter in her locker. She gets up quickly and took her bag to read the letter.

Dear Cara,

Hello there! How are you? I will see you today in your class. Hope to meet you again soon.

Lovingly Yours,

Mr. Smith

Is she being stalked? She felt kind of agitated and nervous about the letters she received from Mr. Smith. Who is this person? She asked herself again curiously.

She tried remembering her classes today, but she never noticed that someone was following her the whole day.
