1 Chapter One: Unforgettable Dream

"A dream is also a reality, a concealed power of the mind that incorporates the truth." It's just her saying when reflecting on her dream from the past.

She was 6yrs. old then when she vividly remembers a bizarre dream. In her dream, she met a strange boy whom she believes her childhood playmate.

He was a loner and timid boy when she met him. Her other playmates didn't want to play with him because he was so shy to where he couldn't speak to other children. That the children bullied him and treated him like a mute who's incapable of speaking.

But he wasn't a disabled child because he can speak normally. One time, he tried asking her to play with him. The reason she becomes his playmate.

When they were alone playing, he has that cheerful and sweet boy character. And that character of him is the thing he shows only to her.

His smile was like a sweet strawberry ice cream that made her thrilled.

Every time she plays with him, he gives her candy. In return, she kisses him on his cheeks.

But the sad thing moment was, one morning when she woke up and looked for him, he was nowhere to be found.

In reality, the only time she could only meet and play with him was in her dream.

"Cara!" Her best friend Jean shouted her name as if they were in a cafeteria.

"I knew it! The library is your hiding place." She immediately hushes her friend, who is now whispering.

She was reading a romance fiction book when she interrupted her.

"You really are the opposite of my childhood friend." She said to her annoyingly.

"Hey dear, can't you still remember me as your only childhood friend? You really are out of your mind to only remember the boy in your dream. He is only a dream. Dream and reality contradict each other, so you should get back in your senses before it's too late for you!"

Jean scolded her again as if they had a therapy session.

She cried so much after she woke up from bed one time when she couldn't find the boy in her dream. Her mom and dad couldn't stop her from crying.

When she stopped crying, she began acting like a brat child. She threw away all her things in her room. She picked on her nanny and bullied her.

Before her situation became worse, her mom and dad brought her to a psychologist.

Years later, as time goes by, she still has her therapy session going on.

Her best friend Jean is a psychologist specializing in dream analysis. She became her doctor when she replaced her mother, who guided her through all her years.

Maybe she was really out of her mind to think that the boy in her dream had truly existed.

She ignored her friend and continued reading the book.

"You know what, dear, stop reading fiction stories. Because it can really influence your dream behavior."

However, Jean continued to bother her. She closed the book that she was reading and faced her.

"You know what, dear!" She mimicked her friend's words annoyingly.

"You should stop bothering me because I'm thinking of zipping your mouth and putting it in my pocket until you can't breathe." She whispered to her while gathering her things on her library desk.

The boy who played with her in her dream was real. Until now, she could still remember his face.

Jean told her, it could be a boy she had met in her childhood days, yet she can't remember where she had seen or encountered a boy like him.

Her friend said he kept on showing in her dreams because she remembered his face in her subconscious mind.

That's the only conclusion Jean and her mother explained to her repeatedly to remind her she is not insane.

However, there is a plot hole she still can't understand in the story of her past that she heard from them.

She went home, bringing the book she was reading to the school library.

Yeah, she's still a student. She's currently in her senior year studying "Psychology."

Her best friend Jean is five years older than her, that's why she was ahead of her from becoming a doctor.

Jean is also a professor in her school, that's why they can always hang out inside the campus.

Though her friend always acts like a student, the reason she was being called "Professor Classmate" as Jean is always cool in dealing with her students. But her students still respect her, especially because she is true, a genius professor.

"Mom, I'm here!" She went straight to her room, called her mom to inform her she arrived home safe and sound. She threw away her backpack on her study desk and laid on her bed without changing her clothes.

She closed her eyes to reflect on herself in all the years that she kept on thinking about the boy in her dream as she wanted to forget him, but she keeps on remembering his face again and again.

Where is she? This place is familiar to her, but she's not sure where it is.

She thought she went home already. But where is she? She asked herself repeatedly.

Wait, if she isn't mistaken. Oh right! This is her dream.

She looked everywhere to see the environment.

There are no people here, except for a man standing behind his back.

She remembered it now!

This is the place where she met the boy in her dream. This place was their playground.

The strange thing is, this place is still the same. Nothing has changed, even the seesaw and the slides.

She went near the man who's standing earlier behind his back and he's now facing her but she can't figure out who is the owner of that face. In short, she can't see his face clearly.

She stepped closer and closer to him. Despite that, his face was blurry. She can't recognize him.

She woke up suddenly. She was about to see the face of the man, but she suddenly went back to the real world.

Who is that man? Is it possible he is the boy in her dream? No, he is not. It can't be.

"Hello, Dear. I need your expertise now. My unforgettable dream is back."
