WHEN I LOOK INTO YOUR EYES

Pete will disappear from any kind of work around this time of the year always... a one week long vacation in mid August and no one can stop him... even in college days, if there were important exam or events Pete would skip it... not only no one can stop him but no one knows where he is going and what he is doing...

But his friends were more concerned from when they talked to his dad a week ago... his friends were June, Thada and Sandee... they were together from college days... now everyone working in the same company... a 7yr long friendship... his father's worry and their concern about him are the same... Pete doesnt have a girlfriend or a boyfriend...

At 26 years of age Pete never had a rumour or Gossip about dating someone...he doesnt even look at the girls flocking around him... as being friends June, Thada and San tried to hook him up with girls and boys too if he swing that way but nothing happened... Pete would always ditch the dates that was set up by them... they tried for a year or so and let the boy to his own interest and stopped meddling...

family and friends want him to be happy.... but Pete is happy as the way it is.. he is happy with his work.... happy with his family.... happy with his friends... happy with the little vacation he takes every year...

The vacation he takes to Hua Hin alone.... same time of the year and stays at the same hotel room.. doing the same activities again and again for the past 7years..... everything is same even the cafes he go for brunch or dinner... when he watch the couples being lovey dovey or holding hands he would feel little pang in his heart but he would soon forget about it and enjoy the vacation...

And that's what he was doing now... watching the sunset on the beach... the salty cold breeze, the colour change in the sky from orange to pink to darkness.... sometimes the sun and the moon together he likes that and that's enough for him... he closed his eyes listening to the music the waves are producing when they dash through the rocks along with the laughters all around him from people enjoying holidays with lovers, family, friends etc...

"Should I move on?" He spoke to no one in particular, sighing he got up and looked at the wide ocean... but he knows he know that he can never move on, when he was lost in thoughts suddenly someone crashed into him... him falling face down on the sand with the person on his back...

Cursing at the person he tried to get up and again fell down... then he somehow pushed the person who had fallen on his back... and got up and started yelling....

But he suddenly stopped when he looked at the face of the person... who looked back at him with Guilt and pouting... that person was speaking something to him but Pete cannot look away from the beautiful eyes of the person... the way his eyes moved when speaking and the change of emotions in them.... it was absolutely stunning for Pete....

"Hellooooo", when the other person waved his hand in front of him... Pete caught the hand firmly in his grip...

"Your eyes are beautiful" was the only thing Pete could muster to say out loud....

The other person's eyes widened in shock....

A small smile formed on Pete's lip... " its absolutely stunning when your eyes widen"

" ok crazy Guy, iam sorry for pushing you but I have to go..."

He said leaving Pete to stand at the same place stunned... with tears rolling down his eyes.....

" found you, kao.."

The next two days of his stay, he searched every nook and corner of Hua Hin for Kao... but he got nothing... he mentally slapped himself for not asking about him... then again it would have been wierd and creepy if he had asked anything to a stranger....

Dejected he returned to Bangkok... he tried to shake the thoughts away but he couldnt forget the face... he was the one person that he was searching for 7 years... and he missed him again.... he sighed and looked at the laptop.... here is back to work from the vacation and his friends again nagging him about it...

When the MD of the company came to them....

MD: Iam appointing a new member to your team...

Pete groaned while all the others were happy... actually Pete doesnt do well with changes... the same environment and same set of friends... he had a anxiety attack when they all first met... then it took almost 6 months for him to open up to everyone... actually Sandee got a nice job offer in America but she was too much afraid that Pete might fall sick again so she rejected it and joined the same company as him... even June and Thada tried so hard to get into the same company as him fearing for his mental health...

But now they have a responsibility of making Pete to be open that's why they were happy when the MD said that they are getting a new member...

Sandee: Pete you told you will give a chance this time...

Pete: yes...

He said gritting his teeth....

Thada patted him on his shoulder...

MD: ok then here he comes.... I will leave you to him

A fine young man, handsome....

Sandee: wow your soooo handsome..

June: you are sooo fair...

Thada: Iam Thada...

The young man smiled... "my name is Kao"....

Pete turned immediately that he almost got a whiplash.....

Pete: Kao....

Kao looked at Pete with confused look...

Kao: do I know you.... you look familiar...

Sandee, June and Thada prayed that Pete shouldn't sprout any non sense and make the boy run away.... but they were stunned and surprised when the always scowling face turned into a smile... but they all cringed when Pete spoke....

Pete: your eyes are beautiful.....

As if realisation hit him...
