7 Date chats

After checking all the animals where good and making sure they had enough food and water for the night, we headed back inside to let the kids play and relax before cooking dinner. After dinner we put the kids in the lounge room to watch Spider-man before heading to my room so I could get ready for my date. “so, do you know where you’re going yet? I need to know to pick your outfit” I look over to see her going through my closet, shaking my head I say “nah, he never said. I’ll give him a call” picking up my phone I click on Kade’s number and wait for him to answer. “hey!” he yells into the phone over the noise in the background, “hey! I was calling to find out where we are going to dinner, but if your still at work, ill just text you” I say looking over at Madi, who is frowning. “nah, your good babe. I’m just heading home now. I had to drop off some shit for Luka. Hold up, I’m just going outside now so I can hear you and head home” I hear him saying bye to Luka before I hear Luka try and yell something to me that I couldn’t make out then a few seconds later its quieter. “so, what’s up? You’re not calling to cancel are you?” he says trying to sound like he is joking, instead of teasing him when I can hear a little bit of nervousness in his voice I decided to just tell him the truth.

Giving him a small chuckle, I say “nope not cancelling, just wondering where we are going because Madi is planning my outfit and apparently needs to know” I laugh, getting a big smile off Madi. Hearing his laugh through the phone, my smiles grows a bit bigger without me knowing it, “alright, tell Madi we are going to the Village” I look over a Madi and tell her, knowing she will like his choice of restaurant. “okay, I guess I’ll see you there at 7” I say, turning back to my mirror. “I look forward to it babe, cya” I hear him say quietly into the phone, smiling I say bye before hanging up the phone and starting to brush my hair

After brushing my hair, I decide to let it air dry, so I use a bit of anti-frizz cream before starting on my make-up. I do my BB cream and mascara before looking over to see Madi standing at my closet just smiling at me. “what? Why are you looking at me like that?” I ask frowning, looking in the mirror I see nothing on my face and look back to see she hasn’t moved. “I’m just happy for you” she says with a smile before going back to looking in the closet. I shake my head with a little smile, before going back to doing my make-up. I do eyeliner, some bronzer and lipstick before getting up to see what my choices are with cloths as Madi can never pick between 2 or 3 choices. Seeing that she has picked out a blue/black floor length dress or a dark grey dress, with 3 quarter length sleeves, that hugs me before flaring out a little at the waist and falls just above the knee I pick it. While I wait for my hair to finish drying, we pick burgundy heals and a small clutch in the same colour.

Decided that we still have 30 minutes before I have to leave, we head out to the lounge room to gather up the kids so Madi can get them home and in bed before it’s too late. I walk them to the door, giving the kids all hugs and kisses, before I stand and give Madi a hug “thank you for helping and coming over today” I say, letting go of her and talking a step back. “it’s nothing, I’ll always be here for you Ro. and I’ll be here tomorrow with Luka and Nick as well, we will find out what happened ok? Don’t worry too much” giving me the mum eye I know she won’t let up till I agree with her. “alright I won’t” I say knowing she won’t give up till I agree. Giving me a big smile, she gets the kids in the car before getting in a driving off. I wave them off before heading inside to make sure Pickles and Sasha have enough food and water and locking the back door. Usually, with Sasha I wouldn’t bother locking the door, and being out of town with paddocks around I haven’t worried about it, but since I still don’t know what has happened, I decided it was best to lock everything till I know everything is good.

Going into my room, I quickly undress and put on the dress and shoes. I put my blue ring on my left pointer finger and my ring with one pink one white stone on my right middle finger. Snapping a quick picture, I send it to Madi, before heading outside to go to the Village. Pulling up at the Village I look up at the brick building with black accents. Checking my make-up on last time I see that it is exactly 7 o’clock and get out of the car and head over to the door. I put my had on the black door handle before taking a deep breath, pulling the door open and walking inside.
