Mate

"I fear that you have found your mate." I wiped my tears and looked up at my Father as he stood up.

He walked to the door and put his hand on the knob, "You can walk around town if you'd like." He opened to door, "The bond will be stronger the closer you are so you should feel the power."

My Father sighed and stepped out of the room and closed to door with a soft click.

After I took some time to collect myself I took my Fathers advice and put on a coat before running to the village.
