4 Chapter 4: Itchy Ears.

After the tree planting, Tirzah conducted a new set of rules within the village. It was because of the complain she recieved from another village captain concerning the burnt hill. They are arguing that it was part of their boundary. Tirzah made it clear that the Ligament Village had no intention of owning the boundary and it was their compassionate gesture toward them but the Chief of Festo known by the name Imno Igos kept his argument.

"Miss Tirzah, a young woman like you is not fit to led a village. Look, you have crossed the line and planted numerous trees in our domian. You will just drag down the legacy marked by the Ligament Village." Imno Igos argued.

Jogli and Mahli who heared this wanted to punch the arrogant middle age with filamentous hair and droppy eyes.

Tirzah is a short tempered person. She grab the man's collar and pushed him on the wall.

"A man who look down on the youth instead of encouraging them, does not deserve to lead. Am I right Chief of Festo? Oh, I mean uncle who doubled my age? " Tirzah sarcastically delivered and loud enough to silence other Captains who was siding Imno. Mahli and Jogli nod in approval with a supportive grin. Imno just stood their shaking in fear.

The Mayor of the Capital halted the brewing trouble. His blonde hair and squinty eyes matched his manly voice. Tirzah can say that he can be a candidate in fashion shows for new arrival and designed clothing. It was the first time she encountered the Mayor and he caught her red handed.

"Miss Eri from Ligaments please release the collar of Mr. Igos from Festo." Tirzah obeyed and seated. Imno glared at her as he fixed his crampled collar.

"Mr. Igos, You have your own view and points in life but to clarify things, The Ligament village had passed a paper of permission to operate and I signed it because it's been weeks but you haven't move to repair the damage." The Mayor pointed sternly. Imno just cleared his throat and Trizah smirked.

"Under My Name Vopshi Clarinet, I will let this argument slide. Your words have insulted the women in our town Mr. Igos but to make sure you won't complain Ms. Eri will have to produce a new project that would equal what she have compassionately extended unto you. And on your part please continue the cultivation of what the Ligament Village planted and give me a proposal that would equal to what Ms.Tirzah performed." Mayor Vopshi instructed and challenge the two.

Tirzah raised her hand for a question and Vosphi acknowledge it.

"Mayor, Can I request an act of apology and sincere gratitude from the Festo Captain?"

Imno just shot up an eye brow and rolled his eyes. Passing the message that the Mayor won't appreciate such request.

"Sure. I am giving you the right to demand since you got the upper hand." Vosphi aporoved and Imno felt his soul traverse from his body.

"Then can I ask for baskets of bread that I can distribute to my people who made a solution to a problem that's been ignored for weeks. Mr. Igos?" Tirzah announced. Imno just nod his head. It won't be a problem. Festo is the Village known as the Sweet Bakeries.

"Since that is settled let us tackle some problems going on around our town." Vopshi instructed. He rummaged through the piles of paper he had unto his desk.

"There is an issues arising about the rivers losing it's course and is absorbing the soil around the Kaheli River that is causing numerous land slide. I am asking that each Village Captains should put a solution to this, by rebuilding a wall to align the flow of the water within each village area." Vopshi broadcasted.

The captains brain stormed and agreed to use the same material. The Captain of Usig Village suggested to utilise the rock by the river. The fatherly figure captain got his solution approved by his fellow captains. He is a captain known for his wise cracks. His muave hair and hazelnut eyes beam as he speak and he's been a sister village of the Ligament.

After the meeting got adjourned. The Chief Village of Usig made his way toward Tirzah.

"You did a good job to teach Igos a lesson. He just kept pleading about people's good deeds." The father figure commented. Tirzah felt flattered she's been hearing affirmative comments since this morning.

"Chief Guni Raphu, I just got irked at his pestering. But thanks for the wonderful suggestion about the Kaheli River." Tirzah bashfully answered.

Jogli and Mahli spread the good news about the bread coming from festo and have asked the villagers to cooperate. The people's reaction were mixed.

They were angry at Igos for looking down at Trizah. And they got competitive about the river wall building.

Elim heared the uproar and can't help but applauded Tirzah's way of shutting the arrogant Chief's mouth. Courtesy to Mahli who reported to him in support of their love team. Elim also found out from the Villagers that it's been a life style here at Ligament that the Pastor is the Captain's adviser and village counsellor. Elim got surprised at the news and started to find a way how to give a proper counsel to the villagers and the cheif itself.

Thankfully the church is located beside the Chief's office. Elim can just cross the pathway and knock at the captain's office. Their lane was just narrow since the villagers used a bike and foot within the village. Ligament is located in between hills and rivers that four wheel engines can't enter.

Elim entered when Jogli opened the office door and led him to Tirzah's office. The apple of his eyes is currently scratching her head as the pile of papers are all over the place. Elim chuckled at her current posture. She look like a kid with a ballpen got knot in her hair.

"Shoul I help you Chief?" Elim teased as he wink.

Tirzah just answered a short and nonchalant " No thanks." As she kept on tidying her hair that got tangled on the pen.

"Come on, your just making it worst." Elim pointed as he glanced at the intertwisted hair.

Tirzah gave up and just grab the scissor in front of her and was about to cut the snarled part but Elim put his palm on top of Tirzah's messy hair.

"Stop being prideful and just accept people's helping hand. Your human remember? You'll need a lot of extended hand." Elim scolded as he untie her hair.
