13 Chapter 13: Angel of the Abyss

The roaster crowed to alarm the upcoming of another day. Elim woke up to check that it's 4AM. He went to knock at his guest room to wake up the village's chief but Tirzah's snore still echoes like a vacuum within the room. Elim opened the door, sometimes he really can't help but question if this person is really the same chief who is establishing the amazing projects within the village. He examined her position. Her feet were crossed her arms were spread like of a model on a wall. Apparently her current posture could pass as a magazine cover.

Elim made his way toward her face and gently woke her up. Tirzah raises her feet and Elim's arms got kicked. Before Elim can even speak Tirzah swung her right arm and it hit Elim's jaw. Elim never experience such calvary just by waking up someone. After a while Tirzah woked up and suddenly she started to act shy and obedient. Tirzah was complaining about a morning shower that was too early and cold. Elim heated a bath for her and even prepared their breakfast. By 6AM Elim walked Tirzah to Jogli's house.

Mahli exclaimed when she witnessed and heared the story. She started twirling and fangirling for the love that is about to start as she chanted. Elim just winked and Tirzah is stopping herself to punch a wall or tree at the moment. She owe the Pastor way too much that she felt she does not have the right to deny or argue.

The four wheeler honked at the bottom of the village. Jogli and Tirzah bid goodbye and entered the Capital after two hours. They had a slight seminar and got each cluster to recieve their destination. Jogli and Tirzah parted at the capital. Jogli nagged her and even gave her some notes that he classified as her basic aid. It was like she is getting pampered by her villagers more than she could asked.

The Mayors were led to the mountains. The vice captains were destined to the garden while the captains are put in the beach. Guni was there with her. Most of the captains were strangers to Tirzah. She can't help but be grateful that she used to led a gang that murked with men. The number of men did not bother her. They got teamed up by thr organizer and Tirzah can say that it's enough to have someone who you knew even if you don't get along.

Tirzah Hepher Eri- Ligament Village.

Guni Raphu-Usig Village.

Imno Igos- Village of Festo

Jahleel Gog- Village of Euph

Igos had no choice but get along with Tirzah. Guni is approachable as always and Jahleel had the same characteristics and personality with Tirzah. His hair was like the sunrise and his eyes was like the moon reflected on a night sky. A lot of people like him and Tirzah got along well with him. They are on the same age bracket of 23 and of the same way of dealing things.

The women were on a separate cottage while the men are setting up their tents.

Tirzah is grateful to have other three women who are older than her.

Pallu Hanoch -Village of Hezro age of 35 with red curly hair and macaroni pupil.

Carmi Nem-Village of Dathan age of 38 with creamy short locks and jasper eyes.

Shaul Haggi-Village of Jamin age of 40 with peach focus and tortoise hair.

They had similar sentiments and different opinions.

Tirzah unpacked her things. Elim had it folded neatly and is too tidy for Tirzah. To the point that she even hesitated to touch it. Carmi made a comment that her husband must be tidy to have it plait.

Tirzah gainsaid all of the compliments and question concerning the person who packed her bag but all of her expression betrayed her.

Elim finished watering his plants. He just finished his counselling today. Mahli visited his office and she started to open a topic about Tirzah.

"Pastor what do you like about our Chief?" Mahli said as she leaned from Elim's window.

"Well, because she gives me the sense that she is the one." Elim answered as he join Mahli.

"How did you know that she is the one?" Mahli asked as she grin at him.

"Because she comforts my ground. How about you? why did you married Jogli?"

Mahli looked up at the retiring sun and said. "Because he prayed for me, When I can't do it for myself."

Elim beamed as he bestow his approval.

Jogli sneezed as he passed by a lot of flowers. His allergy is reacting and is making his sinus grassy. He rubbed his nose and it's starting to irritate him. Usually Mahli was the one who would softly and tenderly abrade it for him. His place were purely men and most of the Vice Captains were noisy and energetic. Jolgi wished that the three day retreat would end in a snap.

Tirzah unfold the towel and saw a paper wrapped in plastic. She disclosed the wrappings and read the letter.

"Dearest Chief,

I secured the paper with plastic just in case you drop it on the bathroom floor. Please enjoy your retreat. Don't worry about the village Mahli and Iconio will do their best. Try not to think too much of me. Take care and See you.

Elim Q."

Tirzah felt her stomac reacted wildly. Her heart was pumping too fast and her ears are getting hot. This person just forces his way to her parameters and he is starting to crush the wall she built for years. Tirzah sometimes doubt if he is really a pastor or a psych. How did he predicted that she will not notice his letter when she fold it to it's original state a simple phrase was writen upside down on the back.

"Im not a psych, I am your pastor. knowing your clumsiness is enough to be extra careful and to play safe. Avoid roaring my name and don't crample the paper."

Tirzah forced a harsh air through her nostrils. She emitted explosive sound to express her indignation. Her snorting got intervined by Pallu's voice.

"So his name is Elim, eh?"
