42 The Board Meeting [6]

"Since no one is complaining anymore. I will ask Miss Zhuang Yue to come here again. I hope you all know what to do." Luo Feng said while smiling. After Luo Feng said that Lin Hao, his assistant just got back into the meeting room.

"Finished already?" Luo Feng asked.

"Yes, President." Lin Hao replied. "He's still mad but I already made sure that he pulled out all of his shares in the company." Lin Hao continued.

"That's good. Go and ask Miss Zhuang to come here again. I'm sure they are now willing to welcome her with open arms." Luo Feng said while looking at the faces of the shareholders. Of course the last part of what he said was for the shareholders.

The actual meaning of his words was that they should treat Zhuang Yue well or they would suffer the same fate as Mr. Yang. Of course, the shareholders can't refute anymore even if they wanted to because if they did they will suffer a loss and they can't afford to lose money considering the fact that even if they all pulled out their investment ALF won't suffer a loss because there were still people who wanted desperately to invest on this company.

Lin Hao nodded and went to get Zhuang Yue. At this time, Zhuang Yue was on the phone and was talking to Lu Rushi.

"Ru Jie, I promised the twins that I will pick them up later so you don't need someone to pick them up." Zhuang Yue said while sitting on her office chair.

"Alright. I will just send a car for the three of you later." Lu Rushi said on the other line.

"Thank you, Ru Jie." Zhuang Yue said.

"You are always welcome, Yue'er." Lu Rushi replied and before Zhuang Yue could answer, a knock was heard.

"It looks like someone's there for you. I will hang up now. Take care, Yue'er." Lu Rushi said and then Zhuang Yue thanked her before they both ended the call.

"Come in." Zhuang Yue said and then Lin Hao entered her office.

"Miss Zhuang, President Luo wants you to go to the meeting room right now. Please follow me." Lin Hao told her.

"Alright. Let's go." Zhuang Yue said and then she stood up and walked towards Lin Hao. They both then went to the meeting room.

Upon entering the meeting room, Zhuang Yue felt that something did change from the atmosphere here. Although the shareholders were all looking at her, this time they were looking at her kindly, unlike the looks they gave her at first which was a look of disdain and criticizing. But Zhuang Yue just ignored it and went directly to Luo Feng.

"Mr. Luo, you ask for me?" Zhuang Yue asked curiously.

Luo Feng just smiled at her and said "Yes. I ask you to come here again because the shareholders' want to welcome you here. They all approved of having you as the company representative."

Zhuang Yue was surprised by what she heard. She really didn't expect for them to accept her this fast. So she looked at the shareholders who were present.

"What Mr. Luo said was true. Welcome to ALF. Let's work well." Mr. Chen, the man second to Mr. Yang in the position of the shareholders in ALF said. The other shareholders nodded and smiled at her. Zhuang Yue could not believe what she was seeing but some manners were ingrained deep so she also smiled and bowed at them.

"Thank you. I won't disappoint you all and I will work hard." Zhuang Yue said.

"That's good then. Now, meeting adjourned." Luo Feng said and then all the shareholders stood up and walked towards Zhuang Yue, they all shook hands with her.

After a few minutes, Zhuang Yue, Luo Feng and Lin Hao were the only ones left inside the meeting room.

"What happened to that other shareholder who was so against me?" Zhuang Yue asked curiously.

"Don't mind him. It's already been taken care of. You do not need to worry and focus on work instead." Luo Feng said and then Zhuang Yue just nodded.

"Anyway, can I get off work early today? I have something important to do." Zhuang Yue asked.

Luo Feng stared at her while smiling as if he knew what she's going to do later.

"You can. You do not need my permission anyway. You have the right to come and go in the company whenever you want." Luo Feng said and then he stood up. "I too still have some things to do. I will leave you with Lin Hao. He's going to introduce you to your personal assistant later." Luo Feng continued.

"Alright. I understand." Zhuang Yue said while nodding.

"Oh. And enjoy your date with Xia Wei later." Luo Feng said using a teasing tone. Zhuang Yue blushed a little and it made Luo Feng laugh out loud.

Meanwhile, inside a private car, Mr. Yang who just lost the opportunity to gain more money through ALF was fuming mad.

"Call Chairman Xia's assistant and set an appointment with him tonight." Mr. Yang ordered his assistant.

'I will see if Chairman Xia will keep his word.' Mr. Yang thought.
