54 Spending time with each other [3]
After eating while talking with each other Xia Wei stood up and offered to wash the dishes which surprised Zhuang Yue. Zhuang Yue also stood up and walked towards Xia Wei. When she was already in front of him, she suddenly put her hand on Xia Wei forehead.
"Hmm. You do not have a fever or what. Are you serious? You? Washing the dishes?" Zhuang Yue said while looking like she didn't believe what Xia Wei said earlier.
Xia Wei burst out laughing because of her. This was his first time laughing freely since 7 years ago.
"Hey, I'm serious. I know how to wash the dishes and just because I have maids at home I'm unable to do a simple task like that." Xia Wei said while laughing.
"Let me do simple things like this. Just relax and wait for me in the living room." Xia Wei added and then he patted Zhuang Yue's head.
"Okay. I will let you do what you want. I will just help you dry them, okay?" Zhuang said.
"No. Let me do everything and just have a rest."
"No! I will help you. No more buts, Mr. Xia." Zhuang Yue insisted and pouted like a little child. This made Xia Wei laugh again and in the end, he let Zhuang Yue help him.
After Xia Wei washed the dishes, Zhuang Yue would be the one to dry it using a piece of cloth and while both of them are doing their own tasks they were talking about their day.
After a few minutes of doing their task, Xia Wei and Zhuang Yue went to the living room and watched a show together. While watching the show, Xia Wei suddenly asked Zhuang Yue.
"Yue'er, did Chairman Xia did something to you in the past?" Xia Wei suddenly asked out of nowhere.
Xia Wei's question left Zhuang Yue surprised again and silenced her for a while. She just faced Xia Wei and stared directly to his eyes for a few seconds before saying: "I can't tell you yet but I promise to tell you everything when the right time comes."
Although Xia Wei really wanted to know the truth, he would not force Zhuang Yue to tell him things that she was not ready to tell him yet. So he just nodded and said: "Alright. I will wait for you to tell me everything when the right time comes."
After Xia Wei said that, he smiled at Zhuang Yue and Zhuang Yue also smiled at him. But after a few minutes, Xia Wei asked Zhuang Yue a question again.
"Yue'er, what did Chairman Xia told you earlier?" Xia Wei suddenly asked. This time Zhuang Yue was not surprised because she was expecting that sooner or later Xia Wei would ask her about what happened earlier with Chairman Xia.
"Alright. I will tell you." Zhuang Yue said and proceeded to tell Xia Wei what the Chairman told her earlier without restraint. "Chairman Xia told me that you would definitely marry Su Wushuang. He also said that I could only be just your mistress."
After hearing the first part of what happened earlier, Xia Wei's eyes darkened while Zhuang Yue continued telling him everything that Chairman Xia told her earlier without leaving a single piece of details. Of course, she did not tell him the parts which involved what happened 7 years ago.
