57 I will always be by your side supporting you
Meanwhile, at the Lu Residence, both husband and wife, Lu Cheng and Lu Rushi were on a video call with a man that was currently reporting to them everything that had happened at ALF including what happened with Mr. Yang.
"Good job, Lin Hao. Anything else?" Lu Rushi asked seriously.
"Yes, Madam. I still have something for you and Master to know. It's about Mr. Yang again and Chairman Xia was involved." Lin Hao replied seriously.
After hearing what Lin Hao said Lu Cheng's aura and the atmosphere in the room changed. Noticing the change on Lu Cheng's mood, Lu Rushi held his hand.
"Tell us everything." Lu Cheng instructed.
"According to the person I asked to follow Mr. Yang, he met with Chairman Xia earlier and it seems like they had a deal. I instructed our person to go near them and see if he could have a recording of what Chairman Xia and Mr. Yang are talking about and he was successful. I've sent the copy of the recording to your mail, Master."
"We will listen to it later. Anything else?"
"Yes, Master. After meeting with Mr. Yang, Chairman Xia went to Lady Zhuang Yue's house. About what they had talked about I'm not quite sure about it but later on the person I sent reported that CEO Xia Wei arrived at Lady Zhuang Yue's house together with his assistant and he looks like he was in a hurry to go inside the house. That's all, Master. The person I sent left after Mr. Xia arrived before they could spot him." Lin Hao reported.
"I see. Good job, Lin Hao. Thank you. You may continue your work now." Lu Rushi said.
"You're welcome, Madam and Master. I will do as you said." Lin Hao said.
After what Lin Hao said Lu Rushi ended the call and then she stood up, got a bottle of wine opened it and pour some on the two glasses. After pouring wine on the two glasses she went back to Lu Cheng's side and gave him the other glass.
"What are you planning to do now?" Lu Rushi asked as she handed the glass of wine.
"Make Mr. Yang's life miserable." Lu Cheng said as he drank a little wine.
"And?" Lu Rushi asked as a meaningful smile can be seen from her face.
"As for Chairman Xia, I wouldn't mind making his life a little bit hard for what he did. But I will let Yue'er and Xia Wei deal with him later. The both of them are the ones who should fully deal with him so I will spare him a little."
After hearing what he husband said, Lu Rushi let out a laugh.
"You can do anything you want, Mr. Lu. I will always be by your side supporting you. As to what you are planning to do from now on, I will support you." Lu Rushi said and then she raised the glass and said cheers to Lu Cheng.
"Thank you, Mrs. Lu. I know you will always be by my side supporting me." Lu Cheng said and then he showed a smile to his wife and clinked his glass with his wife's glass.
"Cheers to all our plans." Lu Rushi said excitedly and then they both drink the wine they were holding.
"Anyway, about the city mayor, I already handled everything. Tomorrow will be the end of his whole family." Lu Rushi added and showed a meaningful smile.
"That's my wife. Thank you." Lu Cheng said as he put the glass he was holding earlier on the table and then he walked behind his wife and suddenly lift her bridal style.
Lu Rushi was surprised by her husband's movements but in the end, she giggled put her glass on the nearest thing that she could put it and wrapped her arms around her husband's neck.
"How about an early celebration?" Lu Cheng whispered near Lu Rushi's ear.
Lu Rushi bit her lower lip after what Lu Cheng said and then she whispered back seductively near Lu Cheng's ear.
"I'm in for an early celebration, Mr. Lu."
After hearing what his wife said Lu Cheng chuckled and said: "Then let's celebrate tonight, my dear wife."
After saying that Lu Rushi didn't answer instead she just let out a gentle laugh while Lu Cheng walking toward their room. After they arrived inside their room, the couple celebrated their night and engaged themselves into an intense exercise.
