34 First Meeting [5]

Zhuang Yue was shocked by the sudden kiss and it really made her stop crying. Losing all her senses, she kissed him back. They kissed until they were both out of breath. Xia Wei was still holding Zhuang Yue's face and both of their foreheads were touching.

"A little more and I might lose control and strip your clothes off." Xia Wei said while showing a teasing smile while keeping the same position as earlier. Zhuang Yue blushed because of what he said. Upon seeing the blushing Zhuang Yue, Xia Wei chuckled and kissed Zhuang Yue again. This time, the kiss only lasted for a few seconds before Xia Wei pulled away and said: "I've missed you. Come back to me, Yue'er."

Zhuang Yue didn't answer but she's staring directly into Xia Wei's eyes. After a few seconds, she started speaking. "Alberghi." Zhuang Yue called. Xia Wei just smiled and let out an "Mmm?"

"Can you wait for me?" Zhuang Yue asked seriously. "Let me finish what I need to do. After that, I will come back to you." Zhuang Yue continued and then for the first time after they met again she showed him a smile.

Xia Wei also smiled at her and said: "If that's what you want, I will wait for you. No matter how long it takes, I will wait for you."

Zhuang Yue smiled from ear to ear to him and then she suddenly hugged him and said: "Thank you, Alberghi." Xia Wei hugged her back and just let out an "Mmm."

The two lovers hugged for a few minutes before pulling away. Xia Wei stood up and said: "Let's have dinner later. I have a meeting coming up. It's time for you to talk to Luo Feng. I will call him for you, just wait for him here, okay?" Zhuang Yue nodded and said "Alright."

"Good girl." Xia Wei said and then he bent down a little and kissed Zhuang Yue cheeks. "See you tonight. My number's still the same, I didn't change it. Call me if you need anything." Xia Wei continued.

"Alright. You will be late if you stay here any longer." Zhuang Yue said and then she giggled. "I know. I will be going now. Wait for Luo Feng here." Xia Wei said while smiling and then he kissed Zhuang Yue's forehead this time and then he started walking towards the door.

After Xia Wei left, Zhuang Yue was left alone in the room waiting for Luo Feng. After a few minutes, Luo Feng came and sat on the couch in front of Zhuang Yue. "So Xiao Yue, how's your little reunion with Xia Wei?" Luo Feng teased. Zhuang Yue just rolled her eyes at him and asked him: "Is it really true that this is my office resting lounge? I have my own office?"

"Yes, it's true. You have your own office." Luo Feng said without minding the fact that Zhuang Yue didn't answer his question earlier.

"How is it I have my own office? What's the position you gave me?" Zhuang Yue asked curiously.

"Company representative. In short, a position that is also equivalent to my position." Luo Feng said casually as if it wasn't a big deal.

Upon hearing what Luo Feng said Zhuang Yue was stunned. She really didn't expect that the position Luo Feng gave her was a company representative.

"You do not need to worry about anything. Just focus on your work. I will introduce you to the board of directors at the next meeting. For now, just familiarize yourself with the company first." Luo Feng said seriously.

Zhuang Yue nodded and said: " I understand. Thank you, Mr. Luo."

"You shouldn't be thanking me. You should thank him instead." Luo Feng suddenly blurted out.

"Him?" Zhuang Yue asked curiously that's when Luo Feng suddenly realized that he said something he shouldn't have.

"Ah. Nothing. Don't mind what I've said. You're welcome by the way." Luo Feng said while showing a forced smile. Although Zhuang Yue's still curious she shrugged the thought off her mind.

"If you say so." Zhuang Yue said and then both of them became quiet. Noticing the time, Luo Feng stood up and said: "I still have a meeting. I will assign an assistant to you tomorrow. You can do whatever you want for now." Zhuang Yue just nodded and then Luo Feng left the resting lounge.

Zhuang Yue was left alone again until she got bored, left the resting lounge and went to her office. She sat on her chair and read the documents on top of her table to familiarize herself with the company. After an hour, Zhuang Yue was still busy reading some documents when her phone suddenly rang. She checked the caller ID displayed on her phone screen and seeing the familiar name, she hit the answer button.

"Hello?" Zhuang Yue greeted after answering the call and then a man's voice can be heard on the other line.

"Sweetheart! It has been a while. How are you and the kids?" the man on the other line asked. Zhuang Yue rolled her eyes and said: "How many times do I have to tell you to not call me Honey? I'm fine, the kids too."

Upon hearing her reply, the man on the other line laughed before saying "That's good. Anyway, I called just to say hello. I gotta go. I still have a shoot. Bye, Sweetheart!" Before Zhuang Yue could say anything the man on the other line hung up.

Zhuang Yue just sighed and continued reading the documents she was reading earlier.

Meanwhile, at the Lu's Residence, Lu Rushi, and Lu Cheng were both in the living room reading some documents when Lu Cheng suddenly got a call. Lu Cheng threw a look at his phone acting as if he didn't want to answer the call so Lu Rushi snatched his phone away and answered the call instead.

"Hello?" Lu Rushi greeted.

"Oh. It was Ru Jie! Hi, Ru Jie!" the man's cheerful voice greeted Lu Rushi.

"Why did you call?" Lu Rushi asked directly.

"Nothing much. Just saying hi. Say hi to Cheng ge too. Oh right. Before I forget, I will be visiting soon! I'm almost done with everything here in America." The man on the other line cheerfully said.

"Alright. I will tell him. He's currently busy with something. Really? Congratulations then. We will pick you up at the airport when you arrived." Lu Rushi said casually.

"Thanks, Ru Jie! By the way, don't tell Xiao Yue that I'm coming back soon, okay? I wanna surprise her!" the man on the other line said and then Lu Rushi laughed because of what he said.

"Alright. Alright. I won't tell her." Lu Rushi said while laughing.

"Good. Thanks, Ru Jie! I have to go now. I still have something to do. Bye!" the man on the other line said.

"Yeah sure. Bye." Lu Rushi said and then she hung up the phone and gave it back to Lu Cheng.

"What did he say?" Lu Cheng asked.

"He said that he will be coming back soon." Lu Rushi said casually.

"I see. Yue'er will be surprised when she sees him." Lu Cheng said and Lu Rushi just nodded.
