The world of Pokèmon, a place full of beautiful locations where Pokèmon and Humans live in harmony. From the countryside to the biggest city you can see them cooperate, fighting together to overcome obstacles and living at piece.

In a world like this, there are so many wonders and so much to discover about everyday.

It's no surprise that this story starts in one of these magnificent cities. Or I bet you can say that this specific city is not only magnificent but also really Marvellous.

Lumiouse City, the capital city of the Kalos region, a fancy and colourful land with one the most awesome piece of architecture but also with landscapes of inimaginable beauty and lively countries.

Lumiouse is a place that a person should visit at least once during a lifetime.

With its big streets full of local shops as well as the most important companies boutiques, it's a city that trasudes fancyness everywhere. It is also well known for its numerous parks where you can enjoy a long walk alongside your Pokemon but also relax and watch the typical awesome sunset. All along these pieces of heaven on Earth you can see vendors of the most fresh and typical bakery products of the region; from Pokèpuffs to croissant, with hot beverages and drinks, you will be always with a full stomach while crossing these green areas.

It sure is a lively city and it is no doubt that its cafès and night bars are responsible for this in a part for sure.

Kalosean people sure love to go around and meet friends in these places which are easily the most characteristic part of the region.

But You can't talk about Lumiouse without speaking of the biggest building in the region: the Prism tower, a place that always attract people from all over the world in search for the romantic landscape you can watch from the top of the tower.

Lovers come to cuddle eachother at the lovely kalosean night view and this includes even their Pokèmon. When the sky is clear you can also see the light reflected by the Anistar city sundial.

The tower is also known for the great restaurants, the offices of some of the most important society in the world and of course for the Lumiouse Gym, the aim for many trainers who come here to earn a badge in their journey for the League confercence which is usually held in this same city.

For this reason there is a complex of stadiums which, from time to time hosts some of the Pokèmon World Coronation Series tournaments.

And right now, this is the case.

"It's time for the final blow Pikachu" a raven haired trainer exclames while fist bumping with his yellow rodent partner.

"Pikapi" the mouse squicks before having his partner hat put on his head.

The opponent of this duo is watching, quite shocked at such display. Being the Champion of the Kalos region and one of the strongest Champions out there, it sure is surprising to be down to the last Pokèmon, and even more knowing that your faithful Mega Gardevoir is on one knee breathing hard against a mouse commanded by a young man in his early 20's.

However, Diantha has now more pressing thoughts: " Gardevoir, we have to give out all we can now".

Meanwhile, on the other side of the field, the boy's Z Crystal has started glowing:

" Much bigger than a Thunderbolt, 100.000 Volts... No, much much bigger, over 1.000.000 Volts, and futher beyond"

"Pika Pika Pika"

The duo is charging all the remaining energy they could summon to overcome this last opponent that's standing between them and the top 4 of the PWC final tournament.

Suddenly the two relaxes their battle stances. A deep breath exudes from their body at the same time and they meet each other's eyes. The same grin on the faces.

" 100.000.000 Volts Thunderbolt!!" "Piiiiikaaaaaa.....chuuuuuu"

On the stands, witnessing such moment, there was one boy named Goh, watching his best friend Ash Ketchum facing the Kalos champion Diantha for the last spot in the top 4 Tournament.

He watched in awe at such display even though he had saw that reckless boy facing the best trainers in the world other times during their fellowship that started 2 years ago when they became research assistants for the well known Professor Cerise of Vermilion city in the Kanto Region.

You can guess that he wasn't the only one watching in amazement the battle.

Around the stadium complex there were big screens and a lot of people were gathered around them to watch the match.

Walking by, two lemon blonde siblings caught sight of the battle.

One of them was Clemont, the genial inventor and Lumiouse city gym leader, wearing a blue suit whit a red necktie. Next to him, his sister, Bonnie, now 13, in a more casual outfit since she had just come back from her journey in Hoenn. In her bag, her partner Dedenne.

"It can't be...." said quietly the girl, with glistening eye from the recognition of the man who was battling.

"No way, it's really him" was what his brother managed to say with broken voice.

"FUUUULLL POWEEEER, THAT'S OUR BOND. I'M WITH YOU AND YOU WITH ME PIKACHUUUU!!"

With the same movements the duo launched their arms in the air pushing the giant rainbow of electricity against the wall erged by the Light screen and Protect used by Gardevoir in a last desperate attempt of defense.

" You can do it Gardevoir" was the only thing that escaped Diantha's mouth in that moment.

The crowd was holding the breath at this clash, mouth agape at one the most heated battle they ever witnessed.

But suddenly the wall began to crack with creeps...

"PIIIIKAAAAAAACHUUUU"

Electricity of all the colours broke through the wall and clashed with the Embrace Pokèmon and, with a final bang, the entire field exploded raising rocks and dust while a strong wind forced the trainers to hold dearly their spot while covering their faces from the sand.

After some moments the dust settled and the battlefield was once again visible. At one side, the Pikachu that caused this massive explosion panting heavily but on the other side Gardevoir laid down covered in dust, reverted to her normal state with swirly eyes.

"Gardevoir is unable to battle. Pikachu is the winner so I declare Ash Ketchum the winner of the match!"

Silence filled the arena once more as the kalosean people couldn't believe their champions had just lost to a young man while someone was clapping politely and only one person in the whole stadium was cheering like a mad while trying to reach the battlefield: " Way to go Ash, you are the best!!"

The guy named Ash was cheering with his strongest Pokèmon and number one friend Pikachu when he heard the voice and turned around greeting his friend Goh.

"Thank you Goh, it is only thank to Pikachu and the others if we could pull throught in the end"

"I have to say I'm quite impressed Ash. You did grew up as a trainer and I can't say I saw that coming" said Diantha while coming to the two friends.

After a long afternoon trying to avoid interviews and people in general, Ash and Goh managed to arrive at the local Pokèmon Center.

They didn't notice a blue shadow following them at a distance when they entered the building.

They ate dinner while speaking animately about Ash's upcoming battles and Goh's next task for Project Mew while sharing laughter with their Pokèmon not clearly understanding "Bon Ton" and good manners since they were stuffing foods in their mouths while laughing and talking.

It was more a party than a dinner but that was normality for them, having such a friendship and enjoying themeselves so much.

It was at midnight that Ash and Goh decided to hit the bed and in a matter of minutes the former was already sneezing the hell out of him, while the latter found himself unable to rest.

"Pikachu?" "Pikapi?" Of course the two shared the same emotional status and from their bond it was clear that neither of them was destined to sleep anytime soon.

"Let's have a walk, would ya?" " Pika!"

The boy didn't care to take with him the rest of his Pokèmon and stuff so he went out only with his Z bracelet, his Rotom phone and the necklace with Pikachu's Pokè ball on it.

"Ah Pikachu, That was one hell of a match. You were so awesome out there buddy" said Ash scratching Pikachu's ears earning a delightful coo from him.

"Pika, pikapi, pikachu, pi, pika"

" Yes, you are right, everyone was awesome. Hey look at the sky, I missed Kalos nights, ya know?"

" Pika, pika, chuchu" answered Pikachu making faces like he was kissing the air.

"Buddy, throw you sassyness out of the window. I don't know what you are talking about" Ash retorted with a scoff;

" I missed this region, and the friends I made here. We only saw Korinna two years ago and that's it. We are now back in Lumiouse, it would be great to meet Clemont and Bonnie. I missed those two so much. Well, what do you say? Why not stretching out our walk to Prism Tower? I know it's late but I really want to give it a shot. Besides there are very few people on the streets. It'd be relaxing"

" Pi, Pikachu" cheered his number one partner from his favourite spot on Ash's shoulder.

" Alright, Let's go!!" proclaimed tiumphally Ash fist bumping with his best friend.

And so the two were out in the night of Lumiouse anaware once again of the shadow following them and surely not knowing the fact that that night would be the last for both of them in the world they grew up in and loved so much.
