Chapter 784: Do Us Part...

Mina sat in silence, completely confused by what she was hearing. From what she remembered; Lenard had a crush on Sadie which ended when he found out she was sleeping with Troy. After that, everything was a blur for Mina, who remembered the man coming to her home with his father to discuss a possible marriage, but not with whom. She started to search her mind, looking for any hint that may point her in the right direction; just like Nael's violent action triggered her memory, she wanted to see if she could remember how her cousin's preference changed. 

"Mina, do you really not remember anything?" Lennard asked, wondering if the woman's memory loss was his way in. His parents were losing money in every one of their ventures, and they believed that she could save them.

"Nothing," Mina admitted, reaching out to Ian because the feeling terrified her.
