I can see you are new to being an author but thats completely fine! I can see you have thought through the first chapter and it was a good read. As another author I suggest starting your chapters with a description of the scenery and characters. In addition I can see you are taking the rom-com route along with mystery. A good pick which can entertain the audience and draw their attention. Keep in mind to fix your writing structure as that was the only big issue I saw.
