11 Rules and regulations

Exactly after 2-3 days Veronica called Varun and told him to meet her at Sugar Pine Cafe at 4pm.

As both entered the same time they sat down without uttering a word.

"I thought about your proposal", Veronica said.

"So?"

"I will sign the contract papers, but there are some rules and regulations we have to follow" , she said while nodding her head.

"Yeah I know , we cannot get close , no feelings ,blah blah blah.." Varun interrupted her.

"It is not a rule. Well, we don't have to get intimated since we aren't attracted to each other. My point is I want this marriage to be continued for 1 year atleast. If you want our marriage to last before than that ,then I will not sign the contract papers" ,she exclaimed in a worried tone.

"You want to seduce me within 1 year hah!!?", Varun teased her.

"Shut up idiot, ofcourse not. Suppose if we get separated within 6-8 months, my mother is a very smart woman. She would grasp the situation within a second and then I would be in trouble" ,she said with a sigh on her face.

"Oh yeah I understand. I am going to call my grandparents first about the marriage. You sit here for a while".

Veronica didn't had any objection.

As Varun came after talking to his grandparents. His assistant also entered with him carrying the contract papers.

Veronica was astonished as she thought it would take some days to make contract papers.

"Here is your contract papers. Read it nicely and he is my assistant Louis. If you want anything you can contact him".

"No need", Veronica replied in a reluctant voice.

Louis who was watching the environment was surprised with his boss's behaviour. Louis had been working for Varun's family since he was a child , he knew Varun's behaviour very well. The way Veronica answered bluntly and there were no coldness in his gestures, Louis understood the situation.

After heading towards the car both Louis and Varun saw Veronica walking ahead of them.

"Mam!!" Louis shouted and ran towards her.

Veronica turned her gaze towards him . She was surprised after hearing the word "MAM".

"You can call me Miss Veronica", she replied calmly.

"Or Mrs.Miller" , Varun said as he wanted to hear something from her.

"Yes ,but infront of the public", she replied.

And she walked ahead refusing the idea of dropping her.

Both of them separated their ways.

After sitting in the car.

Louis said "Miss Veronica is an independent woman and wants no one to hurt her pride. Also she knows how to manage things.".

"Hmmm" ,Varun didn't said anything

"When I was asked to make contract papers , I was shocked as if what has gotten into your mind. But after watching Miss Veronica I can say you have made a right choice.

Varun smiled but didn't utter a word.
