Girlfriend!!?

Veronica watched the girl standing at the door.

She was wearing peach dress with black heels. She had cobalt black hair with soft curls and waves till her shoulder. She looked smart and mature.

She looks pretty, must be his girlfriend , Veronica thought.

Returning to herself, Veronica said "Umm.. Actually I-I... came.. here....to..."

"Come inside", Varun interrupted while noticing her intensely.

Veronica had messy bun with some hair pouring onto her face. Her eyes were delicate and bright. She was wearing navy blue top with joggers and sneakers on it. Her bun showed her clear face which was quite attractive.

"Hie my name is Shanaya and I am Varun's cousin."

Your delicate brain has turned into dramas Veronica!! wake up girl. She was his cousin and what you thought!!

She was embarrassed but controlled her expression and said " Sorry to disturb you, I came here to fetch my research papers. Accidentally I left those in the boxes that day I brought here".

"Hmm... You can go upstairs and search for them", Varun replied without noticing her.

Coming after taking her papers Shanaya stopped her and requested her to stay there for a while.

She denied but after hearing the same sentence again and again she accepted thinking it would be rude if she would not accept her request.

"With your hairstyle you remind of Vivien Leigh in Gone With The Wind. When I heard brother decided to marry I wanted to meet the girl ", she chuckled.

Shanaya had a cheerful personality. She was close to Varun so accordingly she wanted to have a healthy relationship with Veronica.

Veronica blushed and replied " Thanks."

"Varun you aren't saying anything!!! Shanya looked at Varun.

Varun murmured "Hmmm..."

"I have to submit my research papers tomorrow , therefore , I would like to leave. Will meet next time." Veronica answered with an awkward smile.

"So early!! Hmm.. yup.. for sure. Let's go together I will drop you"

"Don't worry, I will go on my own. My place is quite far away from here".

Veronica didn't wanted anyone to get disturbed beacuse of her.

"Anyway she doesn't have to do anything else. Go with her." Varun said without noticing both of them.

"So mean!! Aha... Worried for your fiancee",she winked at Veronica.

Varun didn't said anything and watched both the girls leaving from distance. He sat on the chair in his balcony, looked at the sky and smiled.
