11 Chapter 10 The Shrine Priestess of Fire

[Evil Spirits] are beings that came from the [Darkness] they have exist since the dawn of creation. Humans cannot perceive [Evil Spirits] the reason for this is because of the power of [Darkness] when the humans were on the brink of extinction the [Gods] descended over earth and has given humanity salvation however they cannot stay in the human realm for long periods of time. Because of this the [Gods] have given humans powers and blessings that surpassed common sense.

Haruki Asahi is a beautiful girl but has a fierce determination to protect the normal people from [Evil Spirits] her family, Asahi clan are [Exorcists] that are blessed by the [God of Fire] he has given them control over fire. [Fire Arts] he gave them this power and they have cultivated it through generations which led to [Asahi Fire Arts] the head of the clan and the father of Haruki Gen Asahi ordered all of his clan members to find and subjugate the [Four-Tailed Fox] also know as the "Tailed Calamity" Countless times the Asahi Clan tried to subjugate the great spirit but it always end in vain and history was about to repeat itself.

"father!" Haruki shouted. "why am i not included in the subjugation" Gen shooked his head. "we cannot risk that you get killed in subjugating the [Four-Tailed Fox]" Haruki gritted her teeth. "Father I am the [Fire Priestess] isn't it that subjugating the [Four-Tailed Fox] is one of my responsibilities" Gen got infuriated at Haruki's statement. "Fool! Do you have a death wish the [Four-Tailed Fox] is a great spirit do you think you can handle him!" Haruki shooked her head. "Fine! If that's how it is I'm going to find him myself!"

Haruki left the Asahi Household and Gen was furious at the action of her daughter. "Tanbe, Nomu!" fires erupted from the floor of the room one was green while the other is red. "you called master" the fire disappeared as it revealed two men. "follow Haruki" Gen ordered the two men to follow Haruki

"Father is such a jerk can't he realize that i can handle myself" Haruki is currently in the city right now. Haruki paused for moment. "i sense strong energy in that direction it looks like the fight has begun" Haruki clicked her tongue. (dammit I'm too late, please be safe everyone).

The place of battle is at the top of the building with corpses of Exorcist littering on and about. "haaa... Haaaa dammit he's too strong" the man muttered. As he see his comrades burning in blue flames one by one.

*low growl*

The [Four-Tailed Fox] sneered at the corpse spread out through the building. "this damned fox!" the man throwed a talisman. "[Inferno Fire]" the man shouted. The talisman burned out as an inferno of flames bolted out of it. "Die" the flames hit the fox.

*boom* *whoosh*

The smoke covers the man's vision. "did that do it?" the man muttered. *low growl* (oh sh*t) the fox shot blue flames from it's tails and it catch the man on fire. "ahhhhhhhhh" the man wailed while he slowly burns away into a black corpse.

Haruki arrived at the scene to her terror she could everyone has died. "nooo!" she cried. "you, how dare you!" Haruki glared at the fox with anger and contempt. "[Pure Fire]" she throwed a talisman at the fox and it sticked. "Ignite" she muttered. *wailing* the fox got startled at the intensity of the fire. But it failed in harming it this only made this angrier. "che" Haruki clicked her tongue. The fox now lock on Haruki shot blue flames at her. "[Fire Wall of Purity]" Haruki throwed a seal in midair and it seems to defy gravity as it suddenly stop in the middle. After that the seal rapidly burns as the fire gets expands and it became bigger until it was the size of small a wall. The wall disintegrated the blue flames shot by the [Four-Tailed Fox] seeing the attack just failed to reach her the fox made clones of itself and they surrounded Haruki. firing blue flames to Haruki this time on all sides. "sh*t" Haruki blurted out as she had her hands guard his face.

*boom!*

The flames exploded as they have made contact. "ugh!" Haruki slowly open her eyes shocked to find out that she was saved by Tanbe and Nomu. "what! Tanbe, Nomu what are you doing here!" Haruki cried out. "we're here to save you" Tanbe murmured to Haruki his body now beat and struggling to stand up. "why!" Haruki shouted in protest demanding answers. "you cannot *pant* Face the [Four-Tailed Fox]..... As you are now you're *pant* going to lose" Nomu chuckled weakly, he lost a arm and he has burns all over his body. "you need to escape *pant* *pant* and report to the master that the [Four-Tailed Fox] *pant* is too strong" Tanbe struggled to speak. "NO! I won't left you behind" Haruki argued. "don't be so stubborn miss Haruki" Nomu chuckled. "if you die everything will be over miss Haruki, but as long as you're alive you can be stronger. so please miss Haruki you need to live, you shouldn't die in a place like this" Tanbe pleaded. "Tanbe... Nomu" Haruki clenched her fist at her own powerlessness she decided to listen for now. "you better not die both of you!" Haruki shouted. "of cou-" before Tanbe can finish his sentence the [Four-Tailed Fox] fired a beam of light but this isn't an ordinary light. This is [Blue Light] by condensing the [Blue Fire] on a straight line it turns into a light of pure blue flame. "AHHH!" Haruki falled off the building due to the intense heat. (no I'm going to die, Tanbe, Nomu everyone I'm sorry)

"Oi are you ok?" Saito shrugged Haruki. "mnnnnn..... Who?" as Haruki opened her eyes she saw a boy shrugging her. (A person what is he doing here). "ugh" (my body hurts looks like i cannot move anymore, i must at least warn this person to evacuate). This is how Saito and Haruki first met.
