7 I’m staying at a hotel......

I'm back and you had better be ready for what's happened. I know all of you are a little on edge thanks to this whole COVID-19 I suppose that's why we all want to loose ourselves in stories. Anyway Jackson and I arrived at the shoot with 15 minutes to spare so we were hanging out waiting for them to call me for makeup and hair, not that I need much. "Why do you work if your family is rich?" He asked me rather quizzically "I could ask you the same question. But I guess that I feel that it's not my family that's rich that money is my parents they worked hard to earn it so I don't think it's my place to spend it you know?" By the way I'm very serious that's how I feel "Hahahaha! Wow you have the opportunity to spend it and refuse!" Yes that is what this dork said. "Well tell me why you work?" I don't know why but his face got sad and of course this made me feel guilty. " I'm sorry didn't know it was a sore subject."

He just grinned like a child again and I realized then that of course he was playing a joke on me. "I think it's fun if you really want to know, and it gives me a leg up on Mr.Perfect!" He said after "Mrs. Ashley please come get ready!" The makeup artist yelled to get my attention then I leftmost get ready with his words in my mind. The one thing that I kept thinking was Why? Why would he want a leg up he is handsome, powerful, confident, and just as rich. Come to think of he is pretty much just as good why isn't he in the spotlight even close to as much Kai? I'm pretty sure I figured something out in that moment but I can't recall what it was. Any way Jackson was being completely dumb while we were shooting and what's worse all the ladies in the area were fawning all over him like seriously back off!

No I'm not jealous but come on when your friend comes with you and everyone starts taking every second of that time wouldn't you fell upset. Never mind is what I was thinking let's just finish this shoot so we can go get something to eat I'm starving at that moment my stomach decided to growl telling everyone I'm hungry. As you can probably imagine everyone turned to look at me but thank god the shoot was finally over. At this moment Jackson decided to finally talk to me instead of flirting "So we can go get something to eat now?" I could not believe the guts he had to ask me that because well you know. So instead of answering I walked to go change so I could leave and he chased me. It he couldn't go into the dressing room soooo yeah then I left him. He could find his own way back to the dorm but I wasn't so heartless as to not get him any food so that's what I did. I got some sushi for both of us and headed back to the dorms.

When I got back to the dorms it was pitch black while I was in the car I changed back by the way. I did realize beautiful the dorms lake was at night and decided to have my meal out there while I was waiting for Jackson to get back but for all I know he could still be waiting there for me to get out of the dressing room. So I chose to call him to tell him to come back to the dorms. So the phone was ringing and someone I did not expect answers the phone I recognized her voice because she was the makeup artist who was very let's just say handsy with Jackson while we were there." Hello?" It is literally impossible to describe how pissed off I was in that moment but I guess I kept my voice steady and calm "Hello May I ask why you have my roommates phone ma'am?" And this never mind that's not a nice word said "What is it to you?" At this point I was loosing my temper so I told her "Well you have my roommate's phone and he is gonna want it back so you're going to tell me where you are and I may not destroy your career!"

I think that scared her because she immediately told me the address I was just at and after I hung up I heard a branch break behind me and I turned and saw Kai standing relatively close to me and I would almost say he was getting closer but I don't want to turn red right now. "You must really care about Jackson for you to threaten someone to get his phone back." I don't understand his tone it almost sounded like envy to me but I wasn't certain. "You know what they say those who share the same house share a connection or something like that." I said this with a nervous smile so I don't know why he believed me. Then I rushed to grab Jackson's phone. That's when I saw her kissing him I don't know why I care but I started to cry like the big baby I am oh yeah and he had his phone.

When I get super emotional I can't control my power so instead I stayed at a hotel we had the rest of the week to work with our groups so I only had to be near Kai and Jackson. So was texting them that I was sick and staying with someone. I also hoped that Jackson didn't suspect that I was pulling one over on them. This gave a day to get over whatever I was feeling as I was sending the text I ran into someone tall and from how hard his chest was very muscular. When I looked up there was Kai in front of me but he wasn't looking at me like he usually he looked like he was struck by a beauty. I think we saw this coming but he asked "Are you ok?" Of course I was a bit star struck but that look had an effect on me "I'm fine. What about you I should have been paying attention." He kinda chuckled and said "I'm fine you can make it up to me with dinner though." I was shocked he wanted to have dinner with me! But I hadn't eaten because of the whole Jackson situation and there was noooo way I was going to turn down this opportunity "Okay I'm free now where would you like to go?" I asked it's only fair since I nocked into him. "How about we go to get Mexican food." I didn't think this was possible but he just became even more perfect. "Ok, let's get going." And with that he took my arm like a gentleman and led me to a car before I got in I commented "You better not be trying to kidnap me." He chuckled.

Thought the car ride I honestly don't remember anything all I could think was oh my goodness I'm having dinner with Kai. Until we got to my favorite Mexican restaurant makes me hungry just thinking about it. "Is this fine with you miss?" I smiled but even without me saying it I think he got the message. While we walking both of us realized we didn't know one another's names. At the same time we both said "What's your-""No you first" and then we both laughed and he introduced himself as Kai Chan and I introduced myself as Ashley Park he looked confused for a moment but it passed as we were seated.
