2 A Strange But Special Kind

Now I liked to go outside and explore. I remember as a toddler my mother would let me go play on the porch. I'd go outside, and for some reason I'd stare at the sun. I battled the sun with my eyes not knowing how harmful this was for me. I stared so long, that i could see the many colors it would change to like blue, orange, yellow, quick purples, red, green I mean basically every color. Now that I think about it no wonder they call it the biggest star in OUR universe. Cause a small star does the same exact thing, only it doesn't harm you to gaze at.

When the sun began to win the battle with my eyes, I could feel a chill run up and down my body that felt so good. My house stayed cool so the sun would warm me up just right. I remember we had purple crystal like rocks in our side walk in front of the steps. I would always try and break pieces of it in hopes to have treasure of my own. Just a toddler with imagination, we've all been there before. Around that time my dad would pull up from work. At the time he was a mechanic, working for Montgomery wards. My dad worked here 15 years he would always tell us know til this very day. He would get out the blue pinto we had and greet me with Love, it's always Love. Then he would hug my mom and brother and head out back. Now we had a real Family, the house, the wife, kids and the dog. A big German Shepherd by the name Delilah

Delilah was my best friend. She was a gentle giant and loved every single one of us. Don't laugh, but when my parents wasn't looking I would eat the pebbled like food she would eat... gross right, I know. But as a kid you have no care in the world. I would get into a lot of things, still remember when I found out we had a huge amount of Earthworms in our backyard soil. My dad picked some out one day to fish with. Oh yeah he was a fisherman as well. He also left weights and practice boxing. I remember when the Houston Rockets won the championship back in the day we walked downtown from the house. My father carried Kevin on his neck while I walked, then after so long he switched us up. A very fair father to his children, never ever treated us any different from the next. We enjoyed the parade they had for the City.
