What It Cost For Bewitching Him

Near a sea, A ravishing beauty could be seen standing alone and the wind blowing her shiny black hair along with it. The expression on the charming girl's face was so serene and calming at the moment.. as if free of all the worries of the world, but reality can be so harsh at times.

She was the kind of girl that women loved to hate. She was an adult , but so young that she still had the exuberance of youth. She had that movie star look, not overly tall and willowy, but more like an action star. Her muscle definition was perfect and she carried herself with the confidence of someone a decade older. She wasn't just flawless in her bone structure, her skin was like silk over glass and she radiated an intelligent beauty.

The wind breeze seemed to calm her, her luscious, silky black hair shining from the sunlight. Her beautiful fair face was so bewitching like a Siren captivating people with just a look.

Perfect black hair that rested right above her shoulders and dark chocolate brown eyes that could swallow galaxies. Her perfect skin that looked so fragile yet so soft. Cheeks the colour of pink roses and eyelashes longer than most people. And her out-of-this-world body could catch anyone's attention, a small waist hidden under a red ribbed top and curvy hips that fit so perfectly in her dark washed blue jeans.

"Mommy!!" called a 3 years old adorable toddler with a cute pout on her face while running towards her mother, the beauty standing at the seashore.

"Aurora, please be careful and don't run" came the worried voice of a middle-aged women running after the toddler which seemed to be her Nanny.

"Sorry Miss. Aleina, I tried to stop her from running but she wanted to be with you." the Nanny apologized to the beautiful girl who looked like a student herself.

The charming lady, Aleina picked her daughter up in her arms and chided gently " I told you to pack your toys baby, why did you run over here suddenly causing Aunt Mary to chase after you and be worried"

"I'm sorry Momma, but can we not leave this place? I like it here" Aurora pleaded with a pout on her pretty and adorable face and glistening eyes like a beautiful doll.

Aleina was surprised and filled with guilt for not fulfilling a simple wish of her daughter but she was helpless herself.

"I'm sorry baby" Aleina said with a trembling voice while hugging Aurora. " You know we have to go otherwise the monster will catch us and take you away from Momma right? And the next place where we are going is near a farm with lots of animals and there is a pony as well which you always wanted to see. So let's go pack your toys, you don't want to leave your toys behind right?" Aleina said trying to change the topic and divert her baby's attention.

Aurora hugged her mother while saying" It's okay Mommy, Aurora is happy as long as Mommy is with her" in a cute voice trying to calm her mother.

"Hm. Let's go pack your toys. " Aleina said while trying to stop herself from crying because of the immense guilt.

The apartment was filled with packed boxes just enough for two people.

Aurora jumped from her mother's arms and ran towards her room while saying " I'll go pack my toys Momma, then we can leave."

The Nanny, Mrs. Mary entered the apartment after them and stood beside Aleina.

"The amount is already deposited in your account. Thank you for the hard work."

Mrs. Mary was shocked and said " Miss Aleina, You should keep that amount for yourself and your baby. You have already given me much more than I deserve by naming this Apartment in my name and giving it to me for free of cost."

Aleina had a sad smile on her face " I didn't do you any favor. You know with my situation I cannot buy anything in my name as it can be easily tracked. Plus the apartment and money is a thank you gift for letting me use your daughter's identity so please accept it."

Mrs. Mary couldn't refute to her this time as she knows Aleina's situation very well. She pitied the young lady for all the horrible and life-shattering things that has happened to her.

"Can't you stay this time? You can keep using my daughter's identity, maybe he won't find you this time." Mrs. Mary said with a look of hope which she knew was too unrealistic considering that monster's power.

Aleina smirked with a self-deprecating smile on her face she tried to count the no. of times she had that same hopeless thought.

At that moment an unforgettable scene flashed through her eyes. She could still hear that voice which even now gives her goosebumps and keeps her awake at night. When she recalled that horrible ordeal even though she didn't want to, she started shivering as if she could still hear his cruel voice that threw her in the depth of the abyss

"You can never escape me. I'll never let you go Aleina. YOU ARE MINE."

SCREECH

The sudden noise of tires screeching, stopped Aleina from going down the memory lane. She immediately ran towards the window of the apartment and peeked through it.

The apartment was located on the 3rd floor. As she looked down from the window of her balcony she saw four black Mercedes coming to a sudden halt right across the street.

There were 8 to 10 heavy- built men which were coming out from the car in a rush.

"He's here." Aleina gasped with pure terror in her voice and pale face as if all the blood seemed to vanish from ger face. She has been in this same situation enough times to come to the realisation that they were there for her. She immediately told Mrs. Mary what to do as she was already prepared to go through this ordeal like it has happened before.

"It's time. Get ready, we'll only get this one chance to make our escape from the monster. Just do as practiced aunt Mary and if i get caught please take care of Aurora as your own. Let's go now, we don't have much time."

Mrs. Mary went to get Aurora while Aleina turned around to get the emergency luggage she had prepared beforehand with their passports, extra cash and other necessities.

Aleina checked her things once again and locked her suitcase. With pure determination in her eyes, she said as though making a promise to herself.

"I'll never go back to that hell with you. Never again."
