8 Sixth Chapter

Phoebe enters the shop and saw Mandy talking to a couple that’s why he didn’t notice her right away. She went straight to her chair behind the counter and stare blankly at the glass door waiting for costumers that she could assist.

She was blankly peering into the door when Mandy suddenly shows up right on her face that shocked her. Phoebe didn’t notice that the couple Mandy is assisting already went out.

“Mamsh! What happened to you? Why were you sent to the hospital? Did that asshole hurt you? Why are you here? You should be resting, I can manage here on my own you know. You could relapse if you push yourself to work.” Mandy subsequently asked her. Phoebe push Mandy’s forehead for his face was so close to hers that it irritates her.

“Ouch! I am just concerned about you yet you’re hurting me!” Mandy pouted, which made her laughed.

“Can you slow down a little bit? You’re asking me questions after question! Can I relaxed a bit first?” she was still laughing that made Mandy rolled his eyes. They were stopped from their argument when the chime of the shop’s door made a noise which means there’s a new costumer who entered.

Mandy quickly face it’s direction and greeted their customer.

“Good day ma’am! Welcome to Petals the one and only colourful flower shop in town! What can we do for you madam?” He said with all smiles. Phoebe was beaming when she glanced to whoever the customer is, but she was surprise to see that it was aunt Amanda.

“Hija!” She called her when their eyes met, Phoebe went near and kissed her cheek.

“What brought you here auntie?” She asked.

“I’m here to visit you, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to go to the hospital where you were admitted because I was kinda busy that day, then we came to see you the next day but they said that you were discharged already.” She explained to her, she can’t hide the fact the she was quite shocked to know that her aunt Amanda knew about that. How did she know?

“I went here the other day and your assistant told me that you didn’t came for work, so I asked your mother why that’s when she said that you were hospitalised.” Aunt Amanda explained later on when she saw her reaction. She just nodded to what she said.

“By the way I’m here to ask you a favor if you won’t mind? “ Amanda told her smiling. She was a bit skeptical but still asked what was her favor.

“Yulo have a business meeting with a big client tomorrow if he’ll be able to close that deal the company will gain a lot. But the problem is no one will assist him, you know how much Yulo hates fast food but he himself doesn’t know how to cook. No one will iron his clothes, his maid has an emergency that she has to go home in their province. I also have an out of town with my friends and I’ll leave later tonight. If you won’t mind could you please assist him?” Phoebe's jaw dropped to what her aunt Amanda said, her reasons aren’t that convincing, but never mind, it would be a good opportunity for her to have a solo moment with the love of her life—who does not feel the same way towards her.

“But he might get mad when he saw me there?” she felt a pang of pain on her chest when a face of Yulo with so much aversion while looking at her crossed her mind.

“Don’t worry about that I’ll take care of it, just go there later okay? I’ll be the one to tell your mom also so you don’t have to worry anymore.” She even winked at her, she just nodded in agreement. Aunt Amanda bid goodbye and left the shop.

When she disappeared from their sights Phoebe sat down and looked at Mandy who's also staring at her.

“Mamsh you didn’t told me that was your future mother in law.” He said to her in a hoity-toity way, which made Phoebe rolled her eyes.

The whole day passed with Phoebe not doing anything but thinking how Yulo will react once he saw her outside his condo, she’s afraid that he will close his door on her face.

When she got home she didn’t bother eating dinner, instead she changes her clothes. After preparing herself she went down and saw her mother at the living area watching television. She went close her and kissed her cheek.

“Mom I’ll go ahead.” She said and just received a nod from Luna. She was quite wondering why her mother didn’t say anything at all, maybe aunt Amanda had talked to her already.

She rode her car and drove it off immediately. She don’t know why she was so excited, maybe because it’s been three days since the last time she saw him.

When she reached the building she quickly went in and walk straight to the elevator, she don’t need to ask the receptionist anymore what floor is Yulo’s unit for she knew already, she’s been following and stalking him for the past four years that’s why. When she reached the 15th floor she went straight to Yulo’s door and ring the doorbell three times, she waited for few seconds before it opened, she plastered her sweetest smile while looking at the man of her dreams.

“What are you doing here?!” he said startled by her presence, instead of answering Phoebe went inside the unit still smiling.
