46 45. Operation H.

After a long pleasant shower, Severus gets dressed for his classes and leaves his room.
The Slytherin shared the charms class along with the Ravenclaws.
As he entered the class, he found ravens sitting alongside snakes.
While the relationship between both houses wasn't bad, most students never truly interacted with other due to some shit rivalry.
Interactions between Slytherin's house and other houses were rarer due to the events happening in Magical Britain.
Slytherin house had the most purebloods, along with the most people sympathizing with the Death Eater ideology, which put a dent in the house's reputation.
Due to the behavior of some …. most of the purebloods in Slytherin house, other houses started alienating them.
Severus never truly cared about stuff like inter-house relations, the house cup, or Quidditch, but he too noticed the alienation from other houses increased in the past 3 years.
At first, his friendship with Lily didn't face that much trouble but as they grew up, he saw the situation surrounding their friendship grow darker.
Students from other houses viewed Slytherin as a den of death eaters, so finding snakes sitting along with ravens, surprised him.
Though it was a sudden change, it was not an unwelcomed one.
Finding Traver and Emmeline sitting at the end of the class, Severus made his way towards them.
"Hello, Traver, Emmeline. I hope you are having a pleasant morning."
"Good morning, Severus." Traver greets and makes some space for Severus to sit.
"Hello, Boss. I heard rumors that you are dating the ice princess of Slytherin." Emmeline teases Severus.
"I told you to call me, Severus, Emmeline. I don't want people to get any weird idea," said Severus, taking a seat beside Traver.
"Aww, you are no fun, Boss...I mean Severus. Now tell me, are you dating Narcissa Black?" Emmeline asked, not willing to give up.
"Yes," Severus replied.
"Wow, you both make a stunning couple, Boss," said Emmeline with a dreamy expression.
"Is she going to join the organization, Severus?" questioned Traver.
"Yes, She and Lily Evans are going to join the organization," answered Severus.
Emmeline and Traver nodded, believing in Severus's decision.
"I believe you need to inform others before welcoming them into the group since some of them may have an opinion about them, boss" suggested Emmeline.
"I agree with Emmeline." Traver agreed with Emmeline's suggestion.
"I will. I want you to inform others to meet me in the Room of Requirement tonight. I will be welcoming Lily & Narcissa into the group, along with an announcement I wanted to make."
"So, no training today" questioned Emmeline, excitement glittering in her eyes, even Traver was happy at the prospect of not training.
The training wasn't a problem for them, but training with Severus was.
Severus was a demon instructor, he wants perfection from his associates and trained them rigorously every single day.
"No, tonight, I will be training an hour extra," said Severus with a smirk.
Both Traver and Emmeline's moods dropped instantly.
Severus knew exactly what they thought of him and his teaching method, which only he made train them harder.
"I want to ask what got snakes and ravens share a nest ?" questioned Severus, curious at the situation.
Emmeline and Traver glanced at each other with a smile, and answered "You, Severus."
"Me." Severus tilted his head in confusion.
"Yes, you, Severus. Ever since you started this group we were able to solve many differences that existed between houses, along with aiding the bullied students with the help of students in our group, who were of the other houses," said Traver with pride.
This is the first time in their six-year stay at Hogwarts, that they saw these many students from different houses interact so openly, mainly the Slytherin.
It was all due to Severus and the group's effort, though Severus stayed in the shadows and instructed them.
A look of understanding dawned on Severus's face, making him smile.
"It was not all due to me, you eight made the most efforts in helping the students and making the grudges between the houses lessen," said Severus sincerely.
Severus rarely bothered with the plans he set forth, knowing they would succeed but success did make him happy.
"This will pave way for the operation H, boss," said Emmeline with excitement, happy at the thought of the success of Operation H.
With a slight smile, Traver adds " I too hope for the success of operation H. It will form a base for all your future plans."
Looking around the class with a grin, Severus answered "I am sure the operation H would be successful."
Operation H or Operation Hestia was an operation started by Severus to gather all students that are suffering, and being abused in their muggle to be provided a house.
The initial phase of the plan was to familiarize themselves with the concerning students and then slowly approach them with this plan since most would be uncomfortable with sharing traumatic home life with others.
Emmeline, Traver, Nolle, Ashton, Dorcas, and Amelia were doing excellent work in making students open up to them and talk to them about their life.
Benjy and Crouch failed to make students open up to them but they were successful in making those students look up to them.
Crouch easily blends into the crowd, making them feel he was one of them.
Benjy is the second most skilled duelist student in Hogwarts after Severus, making students look up to him easily.
During their initial phase of the plan, the team truly found out how many students were suffering from being witches/wizards? the number was more than expected but the main problem that was the root cause of many of their suffering was the misunderstanding that muggles held about Witches.
Many muggle students confessed that their parents were loving but when they heard about the wizarding world, they gave their children cold shoulder.
Half-bloods suffered due to the harassment they experienced in both worlds. They were shamed for lacking education in the muggle world while they were shamed for their blood.
Even Severus was startled when heard all the problems were presented to him.
Understanding that he needed to deal with each student differently, he made changes to the plan.
Three of them stopped their discussion when Mr. Flitwick entered the class.
While the professor taught them a lesson on non-verbal charm casting, three of them continued to study their material since they already knew how to perform those spells non-verbally thanks to Severus's training.
Though Severus didn't pay attention to Mr. Flitwick's class, he held a lot of respect for him.
As soon as the class ended, Emmeline and Traver left the class to inform others of the meeting that night.
As Severus was about to leave the class, he heard Mr. Flitwick call him.
"Please stay back, Mr. Prince"
Severus made his way toward the professor's table.
"Please have a seat, Mr. Prince," said the professor summoning a chair, wandlessly.
"Thank you, sir. May I enquire why was I held back?" questioned Severus, sitting in the chair.
"I wanted to inform you about the room that is assigned to your club," replied Professor eyeing Severus with a curiosity.
"Thank you. May I know which room was assigned for my club?" enquired Severus.
"The room on the left corridor of the 3rd floor of the castle," said Professor with a smile, seeing Severus's eye turn wide.
"But sir, that is one of the largest rooms in the castle. Is it even allowed to assign it for a club?" questioned Severus, not understanding why that room was assigned for him.
"It was assigned to you since I know you require a lot of space to house all students that would be joining," replied Professor in a cryptic tone.
"Huh?" though Severus understood what the professor meant, he had to act dumb.
"I have noticed the changes that you and your friends have brought by helping the students in all houses, Mr. Prince. I am happy about the changes happening. Due to your efforts, a lot of students aren't antagonizing each other just because of their house, letting their house dictate their choice of friends. Noting your efforts, I have signed this room to your club so that you would help more students." Mr. Flitwick genuinely praised Severus.
"You over praise me, Sir. It was mostly my friends' effort, though they too did what they thought was right. I am thankful for your kind consideration, professor." said Severus.
"Now you may leave, Mr. Prince. I hope to see more of your club. I am happy with the change you have gone through, Mr. Prince. It is always nice to see one of my best students doing well." Mr. Flitwick complements Severus.
Filius always considered Severus one of his best students if not the best students in the past decade, but Severus's behavior toward muggles made it hard for him to genuinely approach Severus.
Now seeing Severus defend and help the same people he antagonized, filled Filius's heart with a bit of pride.
"Thank you, Sir." thanking the professor, Severus left a satisfied grin.
This was a part of Severus's plan, to get the professors' attention toward what they were doing, but he didn't think it would be this successful.
Since he and the original 8 members of the table would leave the school in almost 2 years, he required the professor to back his club, from where he could help the students even after he leaves the Hogwarts.
Having professors pay attention to what they were doing will also help the students. though Severus would show them, the professors, what he need them to know.
With this, the initial phase of his plan for Operation H was completed.
