Seashell Stars

Sand between my toes

Ocean breeze on my face,

A seashell of a bubble-

But it's our own little space

And there's nobody around.

The sun shining out

Playing peekaboo with the horizon

Turtles crawl about

At my feet, as well as yours

The tide slowly turning dark

As dark as your eyes.

But they are two different colors

And beautiful all the same.

The sea a pretty jade,

Your eyes- The Milky Way.

I'm lost in your stars,

Yet know where I am, still.

I'm looking through, to your heart

That beats with mine as one;

Forever as the sun.

And we will shine though the ages

Outlasting generations

Until the moment that we explode,

Stardust to be reborn.
