Chapter 36

Yo! welcome back. Our Lami must be in trouble because she has to hide her hands when she goes down to have her meal. Will she be alright? Lami was injured as everyone know. She was finally able to go to her room. But in the way she suddenly remembered that both Vinny Brinx were in her room. So she went to her study instead of her room. She cleaned her hand and washed her gloves because she only have one pair. Because she can't call a doctor to keep the wounds secret, she took some medicinal books from her study and asked Rita to bring ingredients to prepare the medicine by herself. She prepared the medicine and applied it and covered it with bandages. She went back to her room by wearing gloves. Vinny and Brinx were worried because she took so long to came back to her room. They accompanied Lami as she was reading some books till Rita came to call her for the dinner.

She perfectly hid her wounds from Vinny and Brinx. Now she has to hide her hands in front of her family. On the other hand Henon started to realise something. He used pretty stong gloves to avoid any injuries during training. But he was wounded pretty badly even though he was wearing gloves. He suddenly remembered that his sister was not wearing any gloves while practicing. He suddenly realised why his sister was wearing gloves all of a sudden. He understood that his sister wore gloves to cover her hands so that no one can see her wounds.

He blamed himself for not paying attention to his sister. He was very sad because he could already figure out how much she might have been injured. The reason why Henon was so worried is no one in Lami's house know that she is training to learn how to wield a sword. So she has no one to care for her and she has to hide her wounds. He understood that she must be forcing herself to hide her wounds. He couldn't even sleep because he was so worried about Lami.

Lami was afraid at first to go down stairs because they can find out that she is injured if she doesn't act normally. But she has to go down it is inevitable so she took one deep breath and started to go down stairs. She tried to act normally but Rita asked her why she was acting differently. Actually to act normally she started to walk sturdily. So when Rita asked why she was acting like that she realised it herself and started to act carefully. They eventually went down stairs as usually she greeted everyone and everyone greeted her back. She sat in her chair and behaved naturally. She avoided to hold things because if she flinch out of pain when she held something she would be caught. Leyord also asked her why she was wearing gloves to her hands.

Then she told she always liked to wear gloves and today she had chance to wear them. Everyone believed her because she wasn't suspicious but her father did find out that there was something wrong with her. But he kept silent the whole time. She somehow managed to eat a little and went back after completing dinner. She went to sleep after reading some books. Everyone were asleep in her room. And Lami was deep in sleep because she was so tired from everything she went through. Then someone suspicious entered the room. He didn't make any noise and came nearer to Lami walking like a cat. He stared at Lami for a while and sat on her bed.

He slowly took Lami's hand into his hand. What is he trying to hurt Lami? Oh my goodness what to do? He caressed her hand and took away her gloves. Is he some kind of mysterious man or could he be our male lead . I am very excited. After looking at her hand he started to cry like a little kid. Suddenly Vinny woke up and found that there was someone suspicious present in the room. When she tried to check who he is was she was shocked. Because she found that Lami's father was crying in front of Lami for no reason. She knows that it would be so odd if Reivor find that Vinny saw him crying. So she silently went back to sleep.

Reivor sat there for a while caressing her hand and left by kissing her on her on her forehead. What was he thinking? Why was he crying so much? Actually you all know that he was against to let her learn how to wield a sword. The reason is you know right he loves his daughter so much that he can't let her get hurt. Everyone in Kingdom knows that he protects and loves his daughter more than his kingdom and the Emperor. He even almost died once to protect his daughter. Because of this unconditional love he couldn't bear to see his daughter get hurt like this.

He couldn't do anything but blame himself because he thinks that she wants to learn how to wield a sword because she thought that he couldn't possibly protect her. Actually everyone who is reading this knows that Lami doesn't think like that. Poor father he misunderstood his own daughter's feelings. I think sometimes when a person loves and cares for other person so much he can't take right decision and make right choices in anything even if he is a very intelligent person.
