35. Legion.

"I said I was sorry, I didnt know they were those kind of aliens as I couldn't see them." The ancient one says as I just sit in the corner and give her dirty looks.

"Hey!" I hold up my fingers and barely pinch them apart. "This close from sticking a tentacle up your ass and seeing how you like it! I can do that now. So you better watch it lady." i make my arm into a wiggly tentacle and point it threateningly at her.

She just grins, "Dont threaten me with a good time. Besides we both know you won't." She says as I narrow my eyes.

"Seems the ancient one likes it freaky." i get a large grin on my face as the tentacle shoots out much to her shock but i just poke her arm.

Her eyes narrow, "What did you just do?"

"Ah you see i dont really have a way to punish you, so i did the opposite." I grin evily. "I rewarded you."

"Rewarded me?" She asks slightly confused.

"Oh yes, you see I know all about your silly suicidal plan to rope in Stephen Strange as the next sorcerer supreme. That wont work anymore." I smile at her as her eyes widen in panic before taking on a glazed look for a second.

"NO! You didnt?!"

"I did. Enjoy your new high speed regeneration and looooong fulfilling life. I would be rather sad if you just tried to off yourself and left me with no tea drinking partner." I cackle madly.

She clenches her fists and stares at me angrily.

"How strange someone actually not liking the gift of a longer life and insane healing capabilities." I smile at her. "Shame I have too few people I can just chat with in this world. So your stuck here with me, looks like you have to rework those lovely plans of yours. Isn't a future where you dont know what I'm going to do so much more interesting? Also If you try any other suicidal funny business I swear I'll make Stranges life a living hell." I promise her with a serious look.

She glares at me for a second before frowning in defeat. "Fine." she pouts.

"And stop looking so much into the future. No wonder your life is so god damn boring when you know what's going to happen." I tell her.

"But the earth.."

"Fuck the earth, strange does fine when he doesnt stare into the god damn future every second of the day. You want me to confiscate the Eye of Agamotto like some addict?" I threaten. "Little peeper. Jeez live life a little."

"Hmph, your being awfully mean to me today." She says and I just wave her off.

"Maybe you should see a psychiatrist or something, I wonder what Xavier would say about your problems. I'd love to be a fly.on the wall for that conversation." I chuckle.

"I've lived for over a thousand years..."

"So live for a thousand more. Still doesnt change the fact it would be good to talk about it with a trained professional or something. Suicide is never the answer. Unless your fighting me of course, but that's a whole different story." I smile.

"Fine, I'll see if I cant schedule a meeting with Charles." She sighs.

"Great, now I've got a little bird to chat with." I head inside my mind before she can respond.

"Hey pheonix quick question, if I give Legion my mental shields is there any chance of anyone getting into thier mind and trying to take control of them or losing control?" I ask.

"Your mental shields have been rapidly developing, even my sister can't enter your mind, I doubt others would be able to unless they had the mind stone. I wouldnt even be able to if I wasn't part of your mind already." She says after thinking for a moment.

"Great, next question. Loyalty. Do I have to worry about them going out of control of not listening to me?" I ask.

"No, I established a perfect link to you, they will follow your orders obediently forever. Even I doubt I could break it without assistance." She shakes her head.

"Great, thank you." I smile.

"Mmm can I have a reward?" She asks eagerly.

"Sure what do you want?"

"Another kiss!"

"Okay."

After a quick smooch session I head back outside.

Symbiotes have two weaknesses, high pitched sounds, and fire.

First off I pass along my mental shields, however since they are linked with me I can still enter thier minds, second I pass off the fire immunity I got from Pyro. As for the sound problem that's a little more of an issue.

I dont want to just give them my evolution ability, always got to be wary of the what if situations.

So here's what I'm going to do.

"Hey I need you to gradually hit me with sonic magic, loud sounds, shit like that." I tell the ancient one.

I plan to use my evolution to develop an immunity to sound based damage then pass it onto the symbiotes.

"Alright." She says almost eagerly with a glint in her eyes.

Soon I'm being blasted with sound waves which I quickly adjust to while the sumbitoes cry out in pain, I quickly pass on my immunity to sounds and they calm down. This goes on for about 10 more minutes before I'm confident I dont have to worry about them being taken out by sound based weaponry.

I hold my still ringing ear and thank the ancient one who was taking some kind of vindictive glee at my pain.

Maybe a tentacle up the ass might do the trick who knows.

"Thanks for your help." I shout out.

"Anytime."

"Anyway a portal back home please?" I ask.

"You really should be working more on your magic capabilities, that way you can create your own portals in times of need." She says with a sigh before dropping me through a portal into my room.

"Yeah that's probably a good idea." I admit.
