Beastkin? Part 3

I just finished analyzing Mimin with the use of my magic. I wasn't done explaining everything before everyone became silent again, occupied by their own thoughts.

You guys... This meeting is not going to end anytime soon if this continues, you know?

Well, I was reading through the analysis in my mind to confirm my explanation, so I suppose I'm not one to talk about their silence.

(So, about Mimin being a mix of Silverwolf and White Fox. I may have an idea as to how this happened.)

Looks like I have everyone's attention again. Now to continue what I was supposed to explain earlier, which may take a while.

(Well, I'll explain how she became a beastkin first. I'm almost positive that there are three conditions for a human to become a Beastkin. First, the human has to be a newborn baby, or recently born within the period of one month.)

Well, I can't say for sure that one month is the limit before a human baby becomes unable to change into a beastkin. It's just how long we have taken care of Mimin for, and she was a newborn baby when she was found in this forest. But it is likely.

It's hard to explain, but it's kind of like how a baby's head can be shaped to be perfectly even, if someone applies force and rub the baby's head in a certain motion, for example. That only works before the baby's skull hardens, though, meaning it only works in the first few months after birth.

A human baby becoming a beastkin baby is also only possible during those first few months. It's something like that.

(Second, the baby has to grow up in an environment with high amounts of magic. In this case, it's Mimin growing up in the Forest of Magic.)

Well, being constantly exposed to magic shouldn't have any effects on the human baby's body. However, -

(Third, the baby has to consume the milk of the Beast to inherit the characteristics from it.)

-feeding Mimin the milk of the Silverwolf and the White Fox may have allowed the magic to alter her body.

(That being said, it also explains why Mimin is a beastkin mix of the Silverwolf and the White Fox. The contents of the milk serves as the plans, the magic is supplied as resources, and the body acts upon it, adapting to it.)

This is the most logical thing I can think of, one that seems to make the most sense to me.

(I also noticed that two beasts seem to be the limit that the human baby's body can handle. The condition of Mimin's body currently is one that underwent large modifications overnight. If she was fed the milk of three or more different Beasts as a human, her body may not be able to take it, and break down completely.)

Everyone seems to have understood what I am trying to explain.

In other words, any human baby may be able to become a beastkin, provided the circumstances, and it cannot be a mix of three or more Beasts.

Now that most of the important questions regarding Mimin has been cleared, this meeting can come to a conclusion.

Mimin was watching us, since she was called using telepathy earlier. She seems to be listening to our conversation, as her ears twitched constantly during my explanation. Well, that also means she didn't understand anything, though, and she's just trying to listen out of curiosity.

(Alright, it seems that most of our questions have been answered. If there's nothing else, you may return to your own business.)

The Silverwolf Elder said so and the group left, with the female White Fox using telekinesis to bring Mimin with her.

Hmm, if Mimin is a beastkin now, she will not grow fur to cover the rest of her body like us Beasts. She will need some form of clothing. Maybe I can make something for her to wear in the future? I can even start working on that soon, probably.

This is getting more and more interesting. I may be enjoying observing Mimin's growth more than I expected! I wonder, what is the future going to be like with her?
