5 Beastkin? Part 2
(Are you done staring at Mimin? If so, we shall proceed with this meeting. It's about her change from a human to a beastkin.)
I understand how you're feeling about Mimin being a beastkin now, but still... you should stare at other people like that, you know?
Hi, I'm the female White Fox of the group responsible for taking care of Mimin. I don't have a name since, well, White Foxes have telepathy. We don't need names to communicate. Also, White Foxes have this sort of... Ability? If something interesting or special is going to happen in our day, we would get a feeling as such when we wake up in the morning.
I'm about 90 cm tall, which is about the average size of White Foxes, and I'm about 300 years old. Well, I lost count of my exact age long ago, because of how long White Foxes can live for, but I have four tails so that means I'm at least 300 years old.
We, White Foxes, grow in size until we're about 10 years old, around 60 cm tall. Our growth then slows down significantly and our size increases ever so slowly over the rest of our lives. We're born with only one tail, but every 100 years in our lives, we grow an extra tail overnight.
Ah, back to the current situation... Actually, let's go back in time a little bit.
I was accompanying the female Silverwolf in our group to feed Mimin for the afternoon. Just like every other afternoon, I am to assist the Silverwolf by using telekinesis to shift Mimin into a comfortable position. Silverwolves can't manipulate magic in the first place, let alone using telekinesis, so it can be troublesome to feed Mimin.
However, Mimin wasn't the same human as yesterday. She grew furry ears and a tail resembling a White Fox, and has long hair down to her shoulders. They're all the colour of polished silver, which makes her eyes stand out a lot.
Now that I mention her eyes, none of us Silverwolves and White Foxes really noticed her eye colour before. I think she used to have... White coloured eyes? Now, she has two different coloured eyes. Her left eye is the same as the White Fox's red eyes, and her right eye is the same has the Silverwolf's blue eyes.
Mimin's features now make her so pretty, to the extent that it seems artificial, like a doll. Her eyes stand out from her silver hair and fur, a contrast which serves to emphasize her doll-like charm.
When Mimin saw the two of us, she started crawling towards us. That's abnormal since she's only a month old child, but I wasn't thinking about that. Watching her little struggles to approach us on her own initiative, with her tail gently waving around in the air, I could only think of one thing.
(Cute!)
I may be a 300 year old White Fox, but watching her somehow makes me feel young again, and I can't explain this feeling. I just want to watch over her for the rest of today-
(-What do you mean "Cute!"!? This isn't the time for that! We need to notify the rest of our group and the Elders about this immediately!)
Ah, right. Snap out of it, me! This is a serious situation! Mimin has turned into a beastkin(?) overnight. She was a human just yesterday, and her behavior right now clearly shows that she's no longer just an ordinary human child.
Also, you should quiet down a little with your shouting. You're using telepathy, so there's no reason at all to shout like that.

She's currently talking, or rather, shouting, to the male Silverwolf right now, I think. It doesn't look like she's going to stop shouting anytime soon.
The Elders and the male White Fox is currently with us right now. We're only waiting for the male Silverwolf to join us now. Naturally, Mimin is here too. She is the reason for our meeting this time.

How did this happen?
How did Mimin turn into a beastkin when she was human for the past month?
Such questions were in the minds of all of us. There was never a case of humans turning into beastkins until now. Thinking about that, I voiced out the questions that just popped into my mind.
(Was Mimin even human to begin with? Why were we all so sure that she was a human?)
Well, it's not like those questions would answer anything either. It's just curiosity that made me more interested in Mimin.
(She looked like a human, with the exception of not having ears. Beastkin are born with their ears, tail, and fur from the start, but there has never been a case of beastkin growing them after birth.)
The White Fox Elder then approached Mimin after saying so. She attempts to manipulate her magic to surround Mimin, while forcing small amounts into Mimin's body until she is filled with the White Fox Elder's magic.
Silverwolf Elder: (What are you doing to Mimin?)
White Fox Elder: (I'm trying to analyze Mimin's body and her magic power, if she has any.)
Ah, I should explain how this works. Magic is a substance that accumulates within one's body. To manipulate magic, one has to imagine this substance that is part of oneself, and control it as if controlling an extended part of the body. When this is successful, the user is capable of releasing it from the body and altering the properties of the magic.
All of that is done with imagination. Therefore, with a powerful imagination, anyone should be able to manipulate their own magic.
Currently, White Fox Elder isn't altering the properties of her magic, just getting it to enter Mimin's body. This way, she's able to feel Mimin's body from the inside and understand her body completely.

(Mimin is definitely a beastkin now, from what I understand. But she's abnormal. Again.)
The White Fox Elder muttered that last part really quietly, but everyone still heard her. We all prepared to listen to the results of her analysis, while the Silverwolf Elder gave her a look hinting to continue.
(Firstly, she is definitely a beastkin now. Her body is able to control her new ears and tail without much issues.)
That confirms our verdict that she is a beastkin, but that's not important to us now. We continue listening for the part about Mimin being abnormal.
(Secondly... She's a beastkin with a mix of two different Beasts, the Silverwolf and the White Fox.)
(((Eh!?)))
The Silverwolf Elder and the Silverwolves of our group were surprised as such, but us White Foxes weren't as surprised. We already sort of had a feeling since this morning that this would happen.
(That's what I meant by Mimin being abnormal. Beastkin are demi-humans with certain Beast characteristics, and normally they only have those characteristics of one Beast.)
We continue to stare at one another for some time while organizing our own thoughts.
So that's why she has Silver fur similar to a Silverwolf, but ears and tail of the White Fox. It also explains her eye colours, I suppose.
The Silverwolf Elder is the first to break the silence this time.
(But, how did you come to the conclusion that Mimin is a mix of Silverwolf and White Fox beastkin?)
(Well, she seems to have gained the strength of Silverwolves, -)
That explains how she was able to crawl earlier even though she's only one month old.
(-and she has a large pool of magic accumulated within her, like White Foxes. She probably also has the intelligence and innate abilities of Silverwolves and White Foxes.)
Ehh~ How interesting. Mimin is able to use magic on the same standards of us White Foxes? Wait, innate abilities? She's likely able to use telepathy as well? This is amazing!
She's currently crawling around in the dirt, her tail still swaying as if it was natural for her.
(Mimin, can you hear me?)
For the first time, I direct my telepathy to her as a target. When I did this, her ears twitched and she looked in my direction.
Her ears twitched! Her cuteness just then can't be described by mere words! She's too adorable for being one month old!
I'm losing myself again. Calm down. Deep breaths. Phew~
When I noticed, everyone else was looking at me as if I'm some stranger they've never seen before. What's wrong? Is there something on my face?
(Ah, just now I directed my telepathy towards Mimin, to see if she does possess telepathy. And as you saw, she did show a reaction.)
Now everyone is back to staring at one another while thinking about various things. This meeting is going to be a long one...
