1 Why Did You Poke the Sleeping Dragon?

Crackle! The sky turned into a bright lavender as purple lightning fell from the heavens onto a hidden mountain.

A single figure sat on the highest peak of the valley. His brown hair flowing slowly with the wind.

Zoom! The lightning stretched towards the man like jumping vipers. He took a deep breath and continues with his breakthrough. Even though, the nature around them has been scorched to a pure black.

Eventually, the lightning stops after eighty-one strikes. The new immortal rises and proceeds to call for his sword. By sending his dao out his sword comes flying.

It is a pure black obsidian sword, radiating a cold and dark energy. It flys to his land in a leisurely and calm manner.

"It is time for us to kill that man!" His brown eyes radiate anger as he hops on the sword and head to a cave north of his location.

He stands on his sword several feet from the mouth of the ordinary looking cave. "My name is Can Yon Fod-er! You killed my brothers Can Yon Fod-yi and Can Yon Fod-san! I am here to take revenge! Get out of your cave Immortal!" He screamed.

No movement.

"Well then, don't blame this immortal for not giving you a warning." He took a deep breath and clenched one hand into a fist threw a punch at the mouth of the cave. Air traveled at supersonic speeds and the cave began to collapse.

Can Yon Fod-er stands high above the cave on his black sword. "Humph. What a lousy immortal dying so quickly." He turns to leave before he hears the rustling of clothes.

"Aiya! My cave. What a shame." Can Yon Fod-er stares mystified by the being in front of him. "Pesky cave collapsing so quickly."

Can Yon Fod-er quickly gets into a defensive stance.

"Hmm? A new immortal? Nice to meet you, I'm," he began to speak.

"I know who you are!" Can Yon Fod-er draws a dagger made of a Ferocious Jade Panther's tooth. "I want you dead the way you killed my brothers!"

"Woah," the Immortal put his hands together. "You don't seem to understand seniority? I am older than you, therefore you should be giving me something. Not trying to take my life. Here, young immortal, I will let you off the hook this once."

"Seniority? Seniority your mother! Seniority your family!" He splutters out.

"Actually, they are our seniors! Perhaps, you should give me their compensation as well?" The Immortal smiles.

"Shameless!" Can Yon Fod-er screeches. He flys to the Immortal with the dagger aimed for his heart.

The Immortal raises one eyebrow at the action. Just as the dagger is about one inch from reaching his outer robes. He flicks Can Yon Fod-er in the forehead.

Biiiii. Blood spills from the decapitated body like a chocolate fountain as the body falls back at the ground.

"Eh? He died from a flick? Did immortals get weaker while I was sleeping?" He ponders. Then, his eyes take note of a bright metal object that was on the body's arm. "Oh? What is this?" He taps the object and the black surface flickers on to reveal the time and date.

The Immortal looks at the little surface. "8:08 AM. Saturday. August 8, 2020. I thought it was only 1000? I slept 1020 years?" The Immortal continues to peer cluelessly at the surface. He stands nearby the boy for several more minutes.

"Oh my ancestors! How are my cute little disciples and their Sects! I've been a horrible Grandmaster! They must be worried sick! I should visit them!" The Immortal began sent out his soul force and instantly discovered traces of all his disciples. With a smile on his face, he began the journey of annoying every single one of his precious little disciples.

At that exact moment in seven people, they felt their soul quiver in a way, that only one distinctive soul they all knew them could trigger.

"Master?" A beautiful CEO questioned as she stared into outside at the city.

"Oh sh*t." A beggar whispered as he scurried into the sewers.

"Master has returned!" screamed a loyal dog celebrity during a TV interview.

"Need to hide the tea. Need to hide the liquor. Need to hide the drugs." A black-bellied doctor muttered as he hid the objects away.

"Ahh! Master's gonna punish me! Ahh. Why did I choose this path!" A stripper thought to themselves as they hid in their apartment building.

"More inconvenience." The salaryman sighed as he made his way to the instant coffee machine in his house.

"I wish to leave the Shadow Eyes, my Master has returned." An assassin declared as she took a ninety-degree bow.

Each of them immediately began to pray for themselves and each other that they survived their Master's return.
