1 Chapter 1

I am floating. The void is filling everything around me as I drift through the cosmos. Before my eyes are stars, galaxies, whole systems in a colorful array. Staring ahead, at the fantasical disply in front of my eyes, the surreal feeling of it all came crashing down.

Where am I?

I tried to move yet i couldn't feel my limbs, I couldn't feel muscle connect with tissue, nothing to help me move. I looked around more, tried to see myself yet... nothing only the vast emptiness surrounding me. I tried to feel my body yet there was nothing, no warmth, no cold just... now.

What happend to my body? How... did i even look around? I can't remember having opend my eyes, nor blinking for that matter of fact. The more i pondered and thought about those feelings the more questions popped up yet no answer came to mind for any of them. It looked like i had total Omnipresence yet at the same time i wasn't there at all. A singularity. All my entire being, placed in just a single dot.

I tried to will myself forward, just floating in a single direction, no goal in mind or sight just... forward. I felt as if i had to move. No...

It's not like i do have to move. I just can't stand still. Nothing at first happend yet as time passed i noticed that i saw the little dots in the distance move parallel to myself. I did move... right?

Without having a way to prove, nor a way to disproof I just kept going for what felt like a eternity yet it was over in the blink of an eye.

It was weird to say the least... but-

In the middle of my thought I noticed a change. A warmth slowly crept through my body- My being. It felt... Good... Safe... Comforting. As if one could be lost in the feeling forever but that wasn't meant to be.

"I see... You have awoken from your slumber, little one."

A voice. Calm. Confident. Warm.

I tried to make out the source of it, getting to know where it came from yet there was nothing around me.

"Worry not, little one. I do mean you no harm. Quite the contrary. I want to give you a new chance. The reward you yearned for so desperatly."

The sky, the horrizon, the entire space started to shift and change and slowly took on something... Familiar... it was hard to make out, to place a finger on it but it... it felt good.

It was as if I was being lifted out of honey, woken from a long, long sleep as i properly felt and before me, there she was. Holding me in her hands as if I was but a speck of dust, yet all the more an unimagineable treasure, fragile and insignificant but safe and protected all the while.

"Now go. They are waiting for you. Don't worry little one, i will watch over you. Always."
