A CEO's World

I got to my floor after meeting Janya, The Hallways are clean and very soothing with a normal Atmosphere.

I got my keys from my bag, luckily nothing was gone. As I took my keys and placed it in the keyhole, I heard a creak, a door behind just opened.

"What are you doing?" a deep female voice said behind me.

" The Regular stuff. " I said as I turned around to see a woman, taller than me, with dark red hair with her velvet Pajamas, she seemed to have woken up.

"Going home around what? 8 am?" She asked.

" Well, I was at a concert awhile ago. and I have to go to sleep thank you. " I entered my room, I was about to close my door but her foot stopped it.

"Hold on buster, Let me see your room." I had no choice to let her in, she's my neighbour but always enters my room like one of those annoying mothers who always go to your room while you are gone.

She entered the room with no hesitation, my room is not that much big but it's still okay for me.

"You still have your weird PC set-up." she looks at my gaming set-up, it's kinda weird for many but I like it. A Gaming chair connected to three monitors from a different direction, the keyboard and mouse is already in the chair's desk, Game Station behind it for console gaming as well.

" You should fix your life. " She looks at me in the eye with a blank face, I don't know if this is disappointment or not, she's always like that.

"Welp, there's nothing here." she groaned, she went to the door to leave and look at me.

" I'll be meeting you later this afternoon. " she slams the door shut, It's a normal habit for her to do this, going here daily and slam shut the door.

I groaned and decided to go to bed. Man, tonight is crazy. Your friend brought you home, the famous Manga writer I just met and my very weird neighbour.

Her name is Shana, not only my weird neighbour but also my boss. She's the CEO of Enterprise, we distribute Manga, Light Novels and release High-quality Anime, also the subsidies of Tech as well. Despite she's rich, she prefers having a normal condo unit, not a mansion, but just a condo unit.

She's sometimes lonely which I believe is the reason she goes here daily and never mentions it. I pity her for some reason But I'm not yet very close to her.

The problem in our company is that she's red-headed, no pun intended, she's sometimes angry at Manga artists or Mangaka, which is why my job is her representative. I can tell good or bad stories for the manga, sure reading a lot of work, but hey! I get paid.

I woke up and looked at my alarm clock to be 4 in the afternoon, it's getting late but today is a free day. Free day is a policy in our company, we can go to work at any time whatever we want and still get paid.

I took a shower and wore my clothes for work, there's no uniform for work as well, man I'm lucky to have a boss like that, Just wear casual or your outside clothes as well.

I opened the door to see her looking at me, angrily.

"What?" I asked her.

" Nothing. Let's Go," she said as she walks away from me. She does that all the time, it doesn't bother me anything.

I got in the elevator with her. Whether it's silent, neighbours or not, we rarely talk outside of work, excluding her daily barge into my room.

"Oi Felipe," she said as we got out of the elevator, her tone is different, usually it's dead.

"What?" I asked her calmly.

" Wait here. " she then ran to the elevator.

I assume she left something in her room, probably important documents. Few Minutes pass, I realise it's 4:50, 20 minutes. What is she finding?

I was about to leave her but I heard a horn, it's a car's horn. I walk up the entrance to see her, inside a car, in the driver's seat.

"Hop in," she said. Usually, she just left me but this time is different. I got into her car, Sat in front as she stepped on the gas.

The Enterprise Building is not far away; In fact, you can take a walk and still get there before an hour. We got there and saw a pile of a

crowd in the entrance.

"She's here," Shana said as she parked her car a few feet away from the entrance. She picks her stuff and looks at me.

" Guide her to my Office. " She looked at me as she went to the entrance.

With the annoying fans, I saw her in the crowd, talking to her fans like she always does.

"FELIPE!!!" She ran toward me, gave a tight hug making me feel her flat chest to her heart, thumping inside. This is weird hugging in front of her fans, her friend.

"Soke, Let's go," I said as I stopped the hug and grabbed her arm inside the building.

"Are you excited?" I asked her as we stopped in the elegant lobby of the Enterprise.

" Yeah. " Her tone is always the same, from childhood to this day.

"Miss Janya." said the Woman in front of the waiting lobby.

I followed her to a hallway, the Enterprise is big, not bad Shana.

"Here, she's waiting for you." She said as she left me.

I groaned for more time, one of my manga is getting an anime version, you got this. I opened the door to see darkness and a table with a few lights, a pathway with led strips toward the table, illuminated from the light above it.

"Well, Well Well, What do we have here?" Said a woman, There was something I forgot, the chair, it turned around and saw her, the bitch.

" Shana. " I said deeply in my voice.

"Janya, I think you know why the Enterprise called you." She chuckled.

" To tear down dreams of Artists, isn't it!? " One of my enemies came here giving me an offer just to destroy my career.

"You know what happens, YOU'RE NEXT JANYA." She pointed at me with her menacingly grin.

" YOU ASSHOLE. " I closed the door and began walking in the led pathway.

"Oh? You're approaching me, instead of running away and saving your career. " Her hands touched with her mockery.

"I've beaten the shit out of you when we were kids, I can easily do it again. " I angrily said, from her annoying brat years ago until now, there is no difference.

"Oh? Then COME CLOSER AS YOU LIKE."
