Charm Company is a large company headed and owned by Mr. Jack. No one knows about Mr. Jack identity except some of his loyal confidants. It is rumored that Mr. Jack is a wealthy foreigner who opened a branch of his company in this district.

Charm headquarters

"Boss, I've prepared your suit and mask for the meeting. And Mr. Armand also have finished preparing the meeting materials. All preparations have been completed without fail."

A male employee at Charm's company delivered his report cheerfully and a thumbs up at his boss in the morning of the day before the meeting started. The male employee's boss just watched the boy's behavior quietly.

"Looks like you two have switched professions again without my permission."

The male employee's superior commented on his cheerful report with a dull face while changing into the clothes the male employee had prepared. The employee's boss was annoyed at him.

"What could you be mean, Mr. Jack?"

The male employee's loyal friend asked for an explanation from their superior named Mr. Jack. Mr. Jack then glanced at the cheerful male employee's friend who was questioning him.

"I remember my assistant was you, Armand. And why is Brian doing your job? Even if you don't like it, you have to do your job right!! You can't trick other people into doing your job!! Therefore, I will deduct your salary for this month."

Armand the assistant is annoyed but can't argue with his boss. Mr. Jack then looked at Brian, the cheerful secretary who had just made a report to him. Brian flinched and lowered his head reflexively.

"And you, Brian."

"Yes Boss!!"

Brian straightened his posture then answered when Mr. Jack called him. Although there is no visible change in Mr. Jack, but Brian could sense that Mr. Jack was pissed right now.

"You are the secretary and you should be the one preparing the meeting materials. So, why did you ditch your job and do someone else's work instead?"

Brian could only look down and be silent in cold sweat. Mr. Jack actually doesn't want to punish Brian because he knows that Brian is only being used by Armand. But it can't cover up Brian's mistakes and Mr. Jack as their boss must be fair to all his employees.

"I will increase your work so that you don't have any free time to do other people's work anymore."

Brian was taken aback by what Mr. Jack said to him. But Brian could only cry quietly lamenting of having to work overtime as punishment. Even though Brian cried and begged Mr. Jack, Mr. Jack won't change his decision.

Since there was no response or rebuttal from his right hand mans, Mr. Jack gave an additional warning. If the punishment was to hinder them, then the warning was to stop them from doing the same thing in the future.

"You have to do your own works. If you can't, I'll teach you how to focus and do your own work in my own way that you can't imagine."

Brian and Armand then looked down helplessly. Mr. Jack looked at them once more then averted his gaze.

"Let's go to the meeting."

Mr. Jack left the room with two gloomy persons following behind him. The other employees who saw Mr. Jack, Armand and Brian bowed to Mr. Jack. Then they saw the gloom in Armand and Brian. The other employees think that Mr. Jack has given them extra works or punishments to make them look like that.

The meeting went smoothly for 2 hours. The result of the meeting was very satisfactory, so Mr. Jack, Armand and Brian left the meeting room with satisfied and headed to the office with a light heart.

Charm headquarters, CEO's office

Mr. Jack reviewing the proposal from the meeting on his desk. Brian summarized the results of the meeting according to Mr. Jack's instructions and Armand make Mr. Jack's schedule based on the results of the meeting.

"Armand, starting today my working hours will end at 5 pm."

After Mr. Jack casually said that, the room became quiet. Armand and Brian were confused as if they couldn't believe what they had just heard. Armand then looked at Brian and found that Brian was just as confused as he was. Then Armand focused himself on Mr. Jack again.

"Pardon?"

"I won't be working after 5pm."

Mr. Jack repeated his words and the room fell silent again. Mr. Jack was annoyed by the unpleasant reaction of his two right hand mans. However, Mr. Jack tried to restrain himself and explain what he wanted to them.

"Wait Mr. Jack, please reconsider your decision."

Armand who realized after confirmation from Mr. Jack got panicked. He then immediately tried to persuade Mr. Jack. Meanwhile, Brian still couldn't get over from his shock.

"Mr. Jack, there's still a lot of work to be done after 5 pm. Please allow me to remind you. Today, you have an appointment to meet with director Wilny of the Square company and tomorrow at the same time you are having dinner with an important client that already planned a few months ago and has been postponed many times. Therefore, you have to attend the dinner tomorrow or our reputation would go down. Then the next day you have to monitor the bodyguards training in person until…"

"Okay, stop!!"

Mr. Jack stopped Armand who explained his schedule enthusiastically to changed his mind. Mr. Jack was annoyed because his schedule was so full. Even though he had kept himself very busy up until now, Mr. Jack still annoyed when Armand read out the details of his schedule.

"From now on, refuse any gatherings or dinners that held after 5pm except from a certain group of people and find someone else to oversee the training."

Armand and Brian were stunned at Mr. Jack. Mr. Jack always has a very busy schedule and the schedule that Armand reads is only part of it. But Mr. Jack was annoyed at it right now. What made Armand and Brian confused was, Mr. Jack asked to reduce his working hours of his own accord. Armand and Brian remember themselves stopping Mr. Jack for overworking from time to time. Now, that Mr. Jack who often make crazy decisions to keep himself busy, the mad workaholic wants to reduce his working hours? Who will believe it?

"My subordinates finish their work at 5 pm. But why am I, their boss always working overtime?"

Armand and Brian fell silent hearing the complaints from their boss. They know that their boss is shameless. But sadly, they couldn't show their annoyance. Armand refrained himself to shout at his superior and gave up to persuading Mr. Jack to change his mind.

"Mr. Jack, could you tell me the reason for your sudden decision?"

Mr. Jack stopped his grumblings and looked at Armand. Mr. Jack and Armand stared at each other for a moment. Armand felt uncomfortable with the seriousness of Mr. Jack. Could something had happened that made Mr. Jack reduced his working hours?

"I want to go home earlier than usual."

Armand and Brian were taken aback by their boss's excuse. Brian looked even more confused and Armand looked that he couldn't believe what he had just heard. Then Mr. Jack continued.

"I had enough with working overtime and I want to rest in my spare time."

Armand and Brian fell silent again. They were actually happy that their boss had finally thought about taking a break. But this was too sudden and the company's plan that they had been preparing for a long time would be disrupted and even the stability of the company can also be disrupted.

"Mr. Jack, you could bring your works home and advance the appointments to be held during working hours. Therefore, you don't have to cancel all appointments and change the company's plans."

"I think that's a great idea Boss."

Armand gave his suggestion and Brian supported Armand's proposal. Brian himself didn't want to redo what he had been working on for days. Mr. Jack tends to make crazy decisions, so Armand and Brian have to adjust to that. Mr. Jack seemed to be considering the advice of his two trusted right hand mans.

"Alright, you can change my schedule on those terms."

Brian and Armand breathed a sigh of relief after hearing the final decision from their superior. They were saved from restarting over their works.
