10 why are there so many coyotes

for some backstory the place I live in has been going through a drought for 20 ish years so plant life is slowly dying this would normally be completely normal wildlife would just leave the area until the drought ended, but there are now humans here so slowly more and more every year wildlife are mmoving into the citys, I could you not almost walked into a deer today saw a couple coyotes just vibing, and a horde of quail (idk if I spelled quail correctly) wandering around tormenting every other living thing.
