Prologue Chapter - A new life?

I'm dead.

Or at least I think I am.

I should probably introduce myself first.

My name is, or, at least, WAS Jeremy King. I was born on April 8, 1913, I served in the military during World War 2 as an infantryman. After that, I was able to land a boring, desk job in Washington (the state not the city). I had a Wife named Shirley and 2 kids, and I achieved nothing of importance during my life and died peacefully, but you don't care about that right?

Either way, here we are. I have no idea what happens now. Do I get reincarnated? Is this white space the end? Probably not, seeing that I'm still aware of what's happening right now.

As I think this, I begin to feel a slight tug on my chest, right next to where my heart would be, if I had one. Suddenly, the tugging gets stronger and stronger, as the white world around me fades away into darkness. Am I going to hell? I definitely didn't do anything relatively good with my life. Maybe this is reincarnation. Who knows. I certainly don't. Well then, who you are, thanks for listening to my Ted Talk. I close my eyes as I drift off.

Then, a light. It's not much, but its there, then the light gets bigger as if it's coming to me. I reach out towards the light and...

Ouch! A sharp pain envelops my hand as I touch the light, but I can't escape, as if the light is a hand, pulling me towards it. Soon, the rest of my body passes through the light as I see a man that looks like a doctor holding me. As I realize that I've been reincarnated, I'm quickly passed over to another person, who appears to be the one who gave birth to me. I'm getting tired quickly, as all this information is too much for my tiny, baby brain to handle. As my vision darkens I hear -

"-- ----- ---- --- Benjamin"
