33 The Information Broker Request?

*TING*

That is right. Master should be aging rapidly after two months from now and become a dry corpse in the third month.

"WHAT? IT IS REALLY TRUE!!! SH*T! What should I do then?" Mikhail is shouting, his face became pale, and he almost spurting one liter of blood.

*TING*

Fortunately, Master already contracted with grimoire so Master would not continue to aging anymore.

"Grimoire… You should say that first before telling that I will become a dry corpse three months later!" Mikhail complained to Grimoire. He almost got a heart attack when he heard he would die in three months.

Mikhail looking toward the window and the sky is already a little bright. He is estimating that it's around 5 am right now.

"Sigh… It's still too early to go on date with Reina right now. Whatever, maybe I should check the address in the name card that Catherine gave me." Mikhail got up, dressing up and he goes out from the shabby inn.

The address that written in the name card is actually still inside the alley and not too far from the shabby inn only a few blocks away from it.

After walking along the alley for a while, Mikhail found a ragged hut made from straw.

"Is this the information broker's place?" Mikhail frowned but still decided to try asking first then he began knocking on the door.

"Come in! The door is not locked!" A man sound came from inside the hut.

Mikhail opened the door and walked inside the ragged hut while observing his surroundings.

"Please, sit down first and then tell me what did you need from me?" A man inside the hut is staring at Mikhail while inviting Mikhail to sit.

Mikhail staring back at him and widened his eyes in surprise.

This information broker is an elf with a pair of the long ear, blonde short hair, and a pair of green eyes. He is quite skinny and his stature is and also quite short about 160 cm more or less the same as Reina's height. He is also wearing a pair of shabby cloth right now.

Mikhail walking closer to him then sat at his opposite then Mikhail began to ask a question first.

"I need the complete information about this world right now about war, races, world map, anything you know about this world! What price do you offer to sell this information to me?" Mikhail asked the information broker.

"That will be quite expensive! You basically asking me to sell everything that I have after all! Well since you look quite sincere I will give you a discount! 50 gold coins no less!" The man is sitting lazily while saying his price.

"TOO EXPENSIVE!!!" Mikhail is frowned and shouting. Did this man deliberately raise the price because I am not originating from this city?

"Did you really didn't know how important the information in this era? Just one piece of information like a safe traveling route between the two cities could save the countless life, resources, and time! You did not want to walk on to the origin beast nest or evil races camp by accident on your journey, aren't you? In addition, you said you want to know EVERYTHING that I know! Fifty gold coins are already very cheap! This is a price that I give after considered your action as a hero!" The elf man replied Mikhail nonchalantly.

"Hero?" Mikhail puzzled asking him again.

"A hero that is rescuing all the abducted villager survivors from the abyss spider nest. Very impressive I should say, considered you did not know anything such as the spider's nest layout, where they are all being held, where the spider queen is, and many others. However, you successfully overcome it all without any injuries and with only one little beauty's help. I really must drop my hat to you!" The man is smiling while keep staring at Mikhail. It is as if he wants to judge Mikhail's reaction and trying to confirm the news.

"How could you know so quickly? Is there a phone? Or is there any other way to communicate?" Mikhail is asking the man once again curiously.

"It is true that there is no phone or any way to communicate with radio waves but it doesn't mean that there is no other way to communicate at all!" The information broker is smiling while pointing his finger at a direction behind Mikhail.

Mikhail turned his head to see what is that man pointing and found a strange bird in the cage.

The bird is as big as a pigeon but it has two pairs of wings and its feathered tail is quite long about 30-40 cm. Its body color is white but the tip of its wing and tail is black.

"What is that weird bird?" Mikhail asked his grimoire this time since it more knowledgeable about origin beasts.

*TING*

FLASH BIRD

Description: Normal level origin beast that could fly at the sound speed but possessed zero combat abilities. It is an extremely intelligent bird and always avoids another creature approaching. It usually feeds upon leftover of other beasts prey.

"Flying at the sound speed! Awesome! It is far more useful than pigeon!" Mikhail widened his eyes in awe.

"Well... It is really an incredible bird but please do not underestimate the time and cost to train it too. By the way, let us go back to our main topic! I also know that you received fifty gold coins from the lightning emperor." The information broker is laughing at Mikhail.

"So is that why you give me fifty gold coins as a price? Just so you know that I already use some of it." Mikhail answered him while staring at him to read his reaction.

"No... No... No... It looks like you underestimate my offer! I did not intend to sell all of my information for fifty gold coins! I would not even sell it even someone offers me five hundred gold coins!" The information broker is laughing again.

"What did you mean then? Why did you say fifty gold coin if you did not intend to sell it to me?" Mikhail frowned and annoyed.

"I intend to give all of my information to you for free, plus that fifty gold coins to you if you agree to do my request! How about it? Not a bad reward right?" The information broker face turned serious and firmly gazing at Mikhail.
