44 Mercenary Guild Test!

Mikhail slept until the morning when he woke up he felt that his body is very refreshed. Mikhail met with Lumina that already waited for him in front of his room's door. It looks like she got up very early and waited for Mikhail to wake up.

"Good morning, Master! What do you want to do first today? Changing your clothes, eating, or bathing? Lumina will prepare it immediately for you!" Lumina asked Mikhail with sparkling eyes.

Mikhail felt touched for Lumina's devotion toward him and patted her tiny head.

"Thank you Lumina for waiting for me very early today! But you do not need to do this! Just do whatever you like, you could even sleep as long as you like. You do not need my permission or follow my order! You are already free now! No one will order you around, no one will scold you anymore, and no one will shackle you again!" Mikhail reminded Lumina seriously.

"But this is what Lumina wants to do! Lumina wants to serve Master! So Master Mikhail… Please let Lumina do this!" Lumina looked at Mikhail firmly while holding his hands tightly, like a child afraid of being abandoned by their parents.

"Okay Lumina, just do it whatever you like! No one will force you to do anything you do not like anymore from now on!" Mikhail smiled gently while rubbed Lumina's tiny head. Her soft and smooth hair is really nice to touch.

"Unn…" Lumina nodded her head while smiled very sweetly made Mikhail wanted to cuddle her right away.

"Oh yeah…Lumina, keep what happened yesterday as a secret from Big Sister Reina later, ok?" Mikhail said to Lumina but who knew that when he said that Reina coincided came out from her room while hugged Momon.

Mikhail is cold sweating while looked at Reina and Reina looked at Mikhail with deadpan expression then she entered her room again and closed her room's door.

"Wait!!! Wait!!! I could explain it wifey!!! This is not what it looks like!!!" Mikhail pounded on Reina's door while tried to explain it.

"There is nothing that you need to explain anymore!!! Stay away from me you LOLICON!!!" Reina shouted from behind her room's door.

"Loli… What??? It is a misunderstanding!!! I am not lolicon!!! I am not guilty!!!" Mikhail tried once again to explain it.

"Shut up! I do not want to hear it anymore! Go away now!" Reina shouted angrily.

"Sigh… Okay then… Actually, I want to invite you to go with me to Mercenary Guild but since you do not want to go then I will go alone…" Mikhail sighed while began to walked away slowly.

"Mercenary Guild? What is that? I want to go!" Reina opened her door immediately while asked Mikhail with glittering eyes full of interest.

Mikhail chuckled when he saw Reina expression. After more than two weeks with her, Mikhail already got a good grasp of her personality and this is her biggest weakness.

Reina is always very interested in new things or something that she did not know yet. If he baited her interest like this she would immediately follow him anywhere enthusiastically.

Mikhail laughed once again when he saw Reina's excited expression then he held her soft hand and walked out of the shabby inn together while Lumina followed them closely from behind.

Mikhail explained everything to Reina when they walked toward the Mercenary Guild together. He told her everything from Galan's request to when he freed all of the abducted peoples and slaves also his fight with the two killer maniacs then later he accepted Lumina as their traveling companions.

Reina halted her step then she held both of Mikhail's cheek with her pair of soft hands while her beautiful pair of blue emerald eyes stared at his obsidian eyes with mixed emotion. Mikhail detected there are worried, disappointed, and angry in her gaze. Reina's face is so close to Mikhail that he could feel her warm breath on his face made him a bit nervous.

"Why did you not tell me about it? What if something bad happened to you? Are you not seeing me as your companion anymore? Am I really a burden to you?" Reina asked Mikhail while kept stared him with watery eyes made Mikhail felt pain in his heart when he saw it.

"I… I am really sorry Reina… I do not mean it like that… I just did not want you to be in danger anymore! I hate it when I saw in pain! And I also felt a terrible heartache every time I saw you injured! I just want to protect you…" Mikhail answered her sincerely.

"We are not friends anymore! We are far more than that, aren't we? You are the one and my only…" Reina talked while keep looked toward Mikhail's eyes.

"HUSBAND RIGHT!!?? Okay, my wifey I promise to you that I would not repeat it again! I would tell you everything from now on even the color of my briefs!!! Let's get married right away immediately!" Mikhail held both of her hands with his hands immediately.

"Uhhh… No… I want to say that you are the one and my only comrade… Ok, since you promise already then let's go to Mercenary Guild now!"Reina pulls her hands from Mikhail and walked a bit faster with a reddened face.

While Mikhail was felt her heart cracked a bit when he heard Reina's words.

"Someday I would really make her fall for me and married her!!!" Mikhail gritted his teeth while swore to himself.

Mercenary Guild located near the front gate only a few miles away. That is also why Mikhail and Reina must be careful to not discovered by the city guards while entered the Mercenary Guild's building.

Mercenary Guild is a very big two-story building and many people came in and out of it. There are also many guards that patrolled around it but they are not the city guards but Mercenary private guards.

The Mercenary Guild is a place where all the hunters sell their prey and trade it with money. The hunters could also accept some mission from here and report it back after they finished it to get some reward for it. They could also search for some peoples here to form a team to hunt a bigger prey then they could split their profit after it.

Moreover, this Mercenary guild in the Blue City is only a small branch of it. There are many Mercenary guild branches in all the towns and cities but their center is in the capital city. Of course, if you wanted to use their services, firstly you must register as the one of their hunter's member first.

Mikhail, Reina, and Lumina walked toward the one of officer's counter with 'Registration' bar on the top of his table.

"Good morning, Miss and Mister! Is there anything that I can help?" The officer asked Mikhail and the others politely with a smile on his face.

"The three of us want to register as hunters! What are the conditions?" Mikhail asked the officer.

"This…" The officer looked to Reina and Lumina then frowned made Mikhail have a bad feeling about this.

"If you all want to register as the hunter, you must pass our test first and I am afraid that the two ladies would not be able to handle it!" The officer explained to Mikhail.

"Could you tell us what the test is?" Mikhail asked the officer again.
