Hurrying up, I park my car in the parking lot and get out of the car quickly to reach Naira only to stop and realise that I left my keys in the car. I make my way begrudgingly to the car and lock it before walking towards Naira, who is crouched on the ground outside my house.

I fight the smile that is trying to appear on my face at her sight. Her head is placed on her knees and she is rocking herself gently. She keeps pulling at the threads of her jeans obessively, and I feel a strong urge to swat her hands down, but I don't do it because she has told me that I've lost the right.
