34 What We Are Now?

My voice was quite loud and made Echidna wake up from her slumber, slowly she opened her eyes with a small yawn, then her half-open eyes stared at my right hand that was in her breast squishing it like a soft plushy.

Normally in an anime, mostly rom-com, girls then blush at the male 'accidental' touch of their melons and slap the male hard in the face and leave the room immediately out of embarrassment.

But Echidna made no reaction or anything similar to that, instead, she stared at me with an amused smile, "Ara, early in the morning and you're ready for a round? Quite eager don't you?"

".... M'sorry," I silently removed my right hand that was grabbing her breast.

It was so soft, that's not a lie, softer than any pillow or marshmallow that I have touched in my life.

"Don't be, I'm not mad." Echidna shrugged it off.

After gaining a bit of courage, I decided to ask, "Echidna, did we…"

From my body language alone, it was obvious what I meant. I'm dying to know if we really did it.

"Oh, we didn't I just slept here with you until morning, nothing sexual happened between us," Echidna stated with a straight face.

"Oh.." I was really disappointed, not gonna deny that.

"It's quite late in the morning now, I'm going to take a shower." After that Echidna left in a hurry with only her panties.

She's almost naked if it wasn't for the sexy black panty she wore after her figure left. I was alone in my room thinking about what had just transpired.

"Did nothing really happen?" I said in disappointment, but I was also relieved.

But that changed when I moved the sheets in my futon. I saw red, blood red. It's a small amount but it's definitely blood. I could tell.

My heart almost jumped out of my chest as I realized that something did happen last night.

I walked out of my room with just my pants, at this point I don't care about my appearance. My top priority is asking Echidna questions about why did she deny it.

I arrived at the bathroom, thankfully no one seemed to be awake yet, so no one saw me walking through the hall with just my pants.

The bathroom was occupied at the moment, as she was using it. I took a deep breath and started knocking on the bathroom.

"Echidna…can we talk..?" I said as softly as possible.

I could only hear the shower for a full minute, before I heard Echidna reply, "So you're here to talk about last night?"

"Yes…but that's not it. I'm asking why? Why did I deny it?" I asked dryly.

I heard Echidna's reply from the bathroom, "Is it wrong for me to deny it?"

"What..?" I was confused by that answer.

Echidna laughed a little, "No, that was a stupid answer, forgive me…to be honest with you Blake, I don't know myself I just happened to say it in a spur of the moment."

"That's it..?" I wasn't expecting this answer at all, I thought there has to be a reason.

"Yes, that's it there is no deeper meaning."

"Really..? Like you won't ask me to take responsibility or something?"

I heard her snorting at my words, "Responsibility? No, why would I ask you to take responsibility? Blake, I am not such a shallow person."

Right, she definitely isn't that kind of person as far as I knew of her, but what now, exactly? We'll just ignore this as nothing happened?

No, it's something that I can't swallow.

"Echidna, so what are we now?"

"What are we now?"

"You know what I mean, you're smarter than me, but just in case I'll be specific, what is our relationship going to be? Are we going to ignore what happened yesterday?

(Even though, I couldn't really remember what transpired yesterday,)

Or we'll take another step to our relationship.." I was hoping it was going to be the latter.

After a few minutes of silence, the bathroom suddenly opened, revealing a naked Echidna. I couldn't properly appreciate the view as she dragged me inside the bathroom, as she smirked at me.

"This is my answer,"

My eyes widened and later returned the smirk and went inside the bathroom with her.

That's how I got into a relationship with the Witch Of Greed.

My morning started with the best mood I could ever have. I mean who wouldn't? I lost my virginity to a woman who could rival a goddess in beauty and with the addition of forming a romantic relationship with her.

It's impossible not to be in a good mood, every second, a minute feels like I'm on cloud nine, how wonderful the last time I felt like this was forever.

"Someone is in a great mood today eh?" I shifted my attention toward that person and found out it was Archer with his signature cocky grin.

But that didn't ruin my mood, not all, nothing could ruin it.

"I do! Is it that obvious?"

"...Yes, your face looks like it's about to glow any moment now, and it doesn't help when you let out those disgusting flowery aura around you." Archer pointed out.

"Eh, really? I don't really care though, I'm just showing the world that I'm happy!" I smiled at the sun itself, it looked 10x more beautiful than usual, no it wasn't just the sun but everything looked good.

Even Archer's face wasn't as irritating today, heck he might even look beautiful!

"Happy? Which part? The moment you lost your virginity or the fact that you're dating that woman."

I wasn't surprised that he knew, I smiled at him and replied, "Both."

"I see….you can go have fun I'm not going to bother you, it irked me to look at your face at this moment."

"Sure, sure later then." I ignored the part where my face irked him.

Then after he left, Jaune came and we talked about the same talk I did with Archer, but the difference is that he's happy for my progress with Echidna.

Unlike Archer who didn't really care.

Shortly after our daily sparing with Jaune in the morning, Kanae arrived to deliver a message to us,

"Jaune-san, Blake-san Ubuyashiki-sama wants to meet you, and I'm here to be your guide," Kanae said with a smile, but a bit more serious than usual.

It wasn't a problem, so both of us accepted Ubuyashiki Kagaya's invitation to meet us, but I already have an idea why the head of the demon corps wanted to meet us, but can't be too sure unless we meet face to face.

Then we prepared the things that we needed and said our goodbyes to the members of the group, to me especially Echidna who I recently bonded with.

After everything, I left the restaurant reluctantly. It wasn't easy for me, especially when we just started dating.

But Echidna was pretty cool about me leaving, she was an understanding person, which was a relief.

A day worth of trip we finally arrived at the famed demon slayer corps.
