"There is an item you have carried around for years." Rune said. "I can sense it on you. It will serve as a suitable vessel for the magic."
"I don't have any idea what you are talking about." Elle replied. "What do you mean, the only item I have been carrying around with me for years is a pen."
"You carry a pen around with you?" Fey asked. "Why?"
"Because I like to write." Elle explained. "Sometimes inspiration can strike you anywhere at any time, so it is good to have a pen around at all times. This one is my favorite. It's lightweight and glides smoothly across the page. It has served me well over the years."
"A pen isn't a weapon." Dax told Rune. "There has to be some other item she is talking about."
"No." Rune replied. "I am indeed speaking of her pen. Who said that a pen cannot be a magical weapon?"
