Once Lee was freshened up and had breakfast, he spent time relaxing in the warm sun and flirting with the cute hotel staff.

Lee headed to the bookstore to buy books about biology. His goal was to learn more about human biology.

Lee flagged down a taxi and asked the driver to take him to the nearest bookstore he was aware of.

"Hey mister, can you please take me to a bookstore nearby? I don't want to waste any time, I need to get some books as soon as possible." Lee said as he settled into the back seat of the taxi.

The driver nodded and set off toward the nearest bookstore. Lee looked out the window, thinking about the limited options for buying books online at the time.

There is far less information on the internet compared to 20 years later. Most online bookstores sell physical books. Therefore, if he wanted to buy books on the internet he would have to wait for them to be shipped. He can't waste that much time, who knows, maybe tomorrow he will be summoned to that room again.

This is a lucrative business idea, but let's be real here, with the world ending soon, who knows if the money will even be worth the paper it's printed on? Plus, he isn't that dumb to start a business in a country that will be half destroyed soon. So, he'll just stick to his job as a scumbag and promote cultural exchange.

Soon the driver stopped near a pretty imposing book store, Lee stepped out of the taxi, thanked the driver, and took a deep breath. He took in the sights and smells of the bookstore. "This place looks promising," he thought to himself as he made his way inside. He was greeted by the sight of endless shelves stacked with books of all genres.

As Lee walked into the bookstore, he was greeted by the shop clerk. "Welcome sir, can I help you find something specific?"

Lee approached the counter and asked, "I'm looking for some books about human biology. Do you have any recommendations?"

The clerk thought for a moment before suggesting, "I would recommend 'Anatomy of the Human Body' by Henry Gray and 'Gray's Anatomy' by Henry Gray. Both are classic texts on the subject and have been used as reference materials for decades."

"Interesting," Lee said. "What about something more modern? Something that's been published in the last few years?"

"For newer publications, I would recommend "Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology" by Elaine Marieb and "Human Biology" by Michael D. Johnson. It's a great resource for understanding the human body in detail."

"Thanks for your suggestions," Lee said as he picked up the books, he searched for more books he found interesting before heading to the cashier.

Now that Lee has the books, his next step is to find a few guinea pigs. It's impossible for him to exercise his power on himself.

Tokyo in this world is filled with all sorts of colorful characters. From the shady gang members to the sketchy drug dealers, and even the occasional criminal mastermind. The options for guinea pigs were endless, and Lee couldn't help but feel a bit excited at the thought of experimenting on these subhumans. Sure, it was a bit unethical, but hey, who doesn't love a good science experiment? Plus, it was all for the greater good.

Nighttime would be a suitable time for him to find a few guinea pigs.

It was already lunchtime when he finished his business. Lee made his way home. He was thinking of his aunt and cousin who had come to visit the pathetic guy two days ago. They live in his house now.

That's why he didn't take Akane to his house yesterday.

As Lee stepped out of the taxi, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as he looked up at his grand three-story villa.

The immaculately kept lawns and well-manicured gardens gave way to the 600 square meters of pure luxury that lay within. As he walked into his home, he was greeted by a surprise attack from his cousin Alice. "Lee-nii, welcome home! Tell me, where did you go yesterday? Did you do something delicious? quickly tell me!" she exclaimed as she threw herself at him, wrapping her arms and legs around him tightly.

Caught off guard, Lee reflexively tensed up, thinking it was an attacker. He quickly realized that it was just his cousin and relaxed, returning her hug. He felt her soft curves pressing against his chest as he embraced her.

"What are you doing? Jumping out like that is dangerous," Lee scolded her, still a bit shaken from the surprise attack.

"Oh, don't be such a spoilsport. I was just expressing my love and affection for my dear cousin. Besides, where's the fun in life if we don't take a few risks? Now hurry up and tell me where did you go yesterday?" Alice let go of Lee and grabbed his hand, her eyes shining with curiosity.

As Lee prepared to come up with some bullshit for Alice, his aunt Leonora emerged from the kitchen, with a worried look on her face. "Lee-kun, where have you been? We were worried sick when you didn't come home last night," she asked worriedly, wiping her hands on a dish towel.

"I'm sorry, Aunt Leonora. I lost track of time while visiting my parents' gravesite and ended up spending the night at a hotel," Lee replied. It's impossible for him to tell her that he spent the night with his teacher.

"Oh, I see," Leonora said, her expression softening. "I'm glad you're safe. I was worried when you didn't come home last night."

"I'm sorry, Auntie. I should have let you know," Lee said, feeling guilty for causing her worry.

"I know this must be a difficult time for you, losing your parents. I can only imagine how much you're hurting. I am also saddened by the loss of my sister. But just remember, you've still got us. We're your family and we'll always be here for you." Leonora pulled Lee into a comforting embrace, burying his face between her breasts as she spoke.

Hearing his aunt and cousin say that they would always be his family Lee didn't feel any gratitude. Because in his heart, he hated the word 'family', but he didn't let it show on his face and squeezed a few tears to appear that he was moved.

Lee had always harbored resentment towards his family in his past life. Despite his own talents and hard work, he felt overshadowed by his older brother, who had been favored by their parents and given control of the family's businesses just because he was born a few years earlier than him. He couldn't understand why his brother's mere birthright was enough to grant him preferential treatment and opportunities, while Lee was constantly held back and hindered in his efforts to prove himself.

Feeling bitter and resentful towards his family, Lee couldn't help but hold a grudge against his brother. He felt that no matter how hard he worked, his brother's privileged position in the family always overshadowed his own efforts. It didn't help that his brother seemed to take pleasure in making his life difficult. So, he decided to take revenge by seducing his brother's newlywed wife. Unfortunately, his parents found out about his actions, and he was disowned and cast out from the family.

Lee understands that other families aren't like his own family. In other families, the oldest child is the prototype and the youngest is the final product. And the middle child is an unfortunate byproduct.

He can only blame the author for giving him a shitty family because he wanted to give him 'a deeper and more complex backstory'.
