The battle has already started, we're extremely close to ending the chess match. I am playing as white and Alec-sama is playing as black. I have already done the necessary movement in order to position myself and manipulate his strategies, as his version of the chess battle in the game was an easy AI. I'm very clearly on the winning side right now. It's endgame for him, soon.

"Hmph.."

"What is the matter, Alec-sama?"

"Nothing is worth mentioning, so go on. It's white's turn, Ms. Collins."

Alec-sama is struggling.

I make the finishing move, how coincidental. He has lost composure, and did not notice the blatant flaw in his own side, just like what happens inside the game.

"..."

"Checkmate."

"I'm.. humbly amazed, Ms. Collins."

"Thank you, Alec-sama. I am honored being a commoner told 'of greatness' by one of the most important people in this country."

"You are truly are a favorable person in the field of chess, though may I ask how have you surpassed such extent in this board game? I'm very curious."

I respond with an alarmed voice, I suddenly forgot what situation I put myself in.

"That.. I cannot answer, my apologies Alec-sama."

"Hm, I understand. Shall we now go about on our ways, Ms. Collins?"

"Yes, thank you for the match, Alec-sama."

It seems he's actually quite intrigued, did I make it sound that strange? Probably not, I have trust in my senses. Alec-sama goes on to discuss about council duties, as usual. I proceed to my classroom during liberal arts class just on time too!

I meet up with Erika-chan inside, our teacher was right behind me, that was a very close and tense moment.

"Hey, Erika-chan. They're giving out pointers today, right?"

"Yes indeed, Aiko."

It's going to be the 1st quarterly exams, 4-5 days after the pointers have been given, in the game you normally start just right before this scenario. But since I've taken a different approach taking the untakeable route of Emie-sama's, this experience feels so much longer. I don't know what took place in my mind to make me think like that, but I guess I just made the minutes what it's worth, whatever that means.

"Alright, children. Now that I've given the pointers for mathematics, we shall have a little lecture about it's topics."

"Understood, teacher."

"Lady Emie, may you answer the following question?"

"Yes, sir."

Our teachers still call higher nobles; no matter how much younger or older they are, with honorifics. For obvious reasons, that you could tell. Their higher nobility.

The lecture went on, and Emie-sama is already reviewing for maths, she's very much into studying, and I mean OBSESSED with it. In the game she's said to study nearly the entire time she's outside the school and inside her home. In the garden, in her bedroom, anywhere. She's much of a nerdy girl, and that's a really charming trait a person could inherit.

Lunchtime, Louiz, Erika and I are walking across to the auditorium, Louiz-sama said he's been practicing on playing it in home the past few days, and said it was the perfect opportunity with free time to show us here today.

But by the time we got to the auditorium building, The place was already preoccupied by Prince Klain, how unfortunate Louiz-sama, maybe another time. For me, I automatically thought of this as an opportunity for an interaction that I do hope goes well.

We slightly peek through the windows beside. As expected, Klain-sama is on the piano playing what sounds to be the 5th symphony. And we three looked inside, with our heads stacked in a column like in cartoons. I think he's playing Mozart's Rondo Alla Turca.

Well, he really leaves me no choice.

We gently open the door.
