Masked Man

As I was going to the balcony to meet with my brothers and father, I noticed a very tall man dressed in all black with a black phantom mask, what made me notice him were his attention grabbing eyes, they were a unidentifiable colors, yes, he had two different eye colors. One looked like a viper eye green while the other looked like a mix of a extremely light blue and a deep dark brown, odd but beautiful, he was looking at me before I realized that I was staring at him.

We locked eyes until my father started a very long speech about how glad the royal family was to have Rosemary back, but one part of the speech stood out, something that we hadn't talked about before, he said "Whoever is interested in courting my Rosemary, must meet me, then we'll talk about if you're fit to marry my only princess." that shocked me beyond belief, was this guy serious? Was he talking about a arranged marriage? When would've I been told if I hadn't been listening? He smiled and qued the music to begin, while I was standing in the corner, trying not to be noticed, I saw about a good 20 to 30 men rush over to my father, if it was about me I was offended because they didn't want me for me, they wanted me for power and a higher place in royalty.

My brothers had told me about how we were the most powerful country on the known planet, possibly the solar system, which we had a strange knowledge of.

While all the men were swarming around my father I noticed the tall man with beautiful eyes just standing there, showing no interest.

I turned my eyes back to the party but was startled because after a minutes of watching everyone dancing I heard very pleasant voice say "Hello Diana", was it really Simon? No way. He said that he had no interest in royal events. Who could it be then?

I looked to where the voice came from only to see the tall handsome man looking at me with a cocky smile.
