Birthday

"So Rosemary, about your birthday plans, what were you thinking? A masquerade? A gala? A ball?" I honestly didn't know.

I've never gotten to choose what I wanted to do for my birthday since I was an orphan in the real world. I thought about it and said "I would like a masquerade, father.", he looked pleased at my answer and said "We'll have to put it off until tomorrow since you just woke up. We'll get everything ready tonight. Decorations, food, invitations, and of course a beautiful dress for you."

"Alright father, thank you" I said. Everyone look at me as if I just saved a child from getting ran over "What?" I asked.

"You've never said thank you before..." the triplet with purple eyes said.

"Well, I'm going to now." I said firmly. We ate breakfast and father excused me to my room, I had to ask Clarita the triplets names. I got to my room and as I had expected Clarita was there "What are my triplet brother's names?" I asked.

She answered "The man with purple eyes is Theodore, the man with blue eyes is Bruce, and the man with green eyes is Colton", I made sure to take a mental note of that.

I read for the rest of the day until it was time for bed, I slipped into bed but before I could doze off I heard feet shuffling in my room, it couldn't of been Clarita because she was already in her room. Who could it be? I started to panic when I heard the feet shuffling coming to my bed side.

Oh no! Is this how I'm going to die? Will I be kidnapped? All the terrible thoughts stopped when the outline of a man was on the side of my bed, All I could hear was my heart beating, he just stood there until he grabbed my shoulder and shook me hard as if he was trying to wake me.

What does he want?! I slapped his hand off me quickly and fumbled for the oil lamp on my desk, I found it and turned it on. The man standing beside my bed was no other than...
