Due to my wolf-out yesterday all the members of the pack have been a steady stream through our property today. Offering congratulations, tips on changing at will, generally being amazing and welcoming.

With Carly gifting me last night and cutting short our probation, everyone wanted to welcome our family properly and get to know us a little. They'd been politely holding back before to see the outcome of the trial period.

It has been decided that tomorrow on All Hallows that we will be hosting a dual celebration party in addition to the normal pagan celebration. My full shift, our acceptance in the pack and All Hallows. Werewolves like to party and we have multiple reasons to be celebrate.

My parents have welcomed and approve of Sara which is also great. Having a queer child is the least of a werewolf parents worries. There have been no negative side effects yet from our pairing so we're going to go for it. I am both exhilarated and a little scared. Everything is so new and shiny at the moment.

The folks from work arrived in a group and asked that we step outside for a moment. They'd taken the giant stump that dad and I managed to dig up and turned it into a stunning table and chairs set. The table was still one solid piece with the chairs having been cut from it.

They'd buffed and polished the entire set so that the wood grain stands out more prominently then varnished it, so it wouldn't damage easily. These people are just so freaking lovely, kind and accepting. They must have dropped all their other projects to get it finished so quickly.

I cannot deny that I miss my friends back in Essex and certain places there, but I am so damned happy that we moved here. It's an entirely different experience and I had absolutely no idea.

Sara has popped home to get changed and pick up a bag. She's going be staying tonight and not on the couch either. I am actually kind of nervous to be honest. I've only been with humans before, obviously the mechanics are the same but it's still different.

It's deeper with a Were, the connection is stronger. Humans are fine but they're quick, easy and fleeting. With Sara it would be a long lasting commitment, a forging of something more. Merging our scents completely.

It's both terrifying and thrilling, knowing that I will likely spend the rest of my life with this amazing woman. I don't know what the future will hold but I look forward to finding out with her and my new pack.
