8 Wyldblood

"Everything that you see before you, has been made by three entities that make up the Triat. The Wyld, is a chaotic force that creates all life, which is then brought to order by, the Weaver. When the time comes for new life to be created, the Wyrm destroys the old to make room for the new. These forces use to live in harmony and balance, but over time the Wyrm grew greedy, and started destroying more, and more…

Humans who use to help the Weaver turned to the Wyrm, helping it's destructive powers grow. Now the Wyrm's influence has begun to become uncontrollable, forcing us to fight back. Most humans lack any connection to the Wyld, but it appears it flows in your veins…" He leans forward, gazing down at John, "I cannot say for certain you are a Garou...In all my centuries I've never seen anything quite like you...Neither truly man, nor truly Garou...you are a strange mix.

I also sense a great rage, one that would consume most, yet you contain it with ease. A creature that holds the essence of the Wyld inside it, but is able to keep it controlled like the Weaver...For now, I shall call you Wyldblood,"

"Alright..? Guess it could've been a worse name…" John mutters as he scratches the back of his head, "Are you gonna keep talking about how, unusual, I am, or are you going to keep telling me what I actually asked for?"

"...With all that rage, you certainly lack patience…" Yfen responds with an irritated tone, "Return here tomorrow, and I shall tell you more then. Until then," Yfen looks over to the right at Rodko and some other people as they walk back into the caern, "Get to know your new pack,"

And with that Yfen fades away into leaves that drift off into the wind.

"So, it appears Yfen has given you his blessing," Rodko states as he walks up to John. He nods his head at the others and they all walk away, leaving the two of them alone, "I thought you weren't a Garou?"

"I'm not," John replies, agitated by Rodko's skeptical gaze, "In case you didn't hear, I'm a...Wyldblood," He shrugs.

"...Where'd you get that gun from?"

"Off the corpse of one of the soldiers y'all were shooting at,"

"Why the hell were you out there?!"

"Hey, don't get at me, get mad at the tree guy," He points his thumb at the giant tree sitting beside them, "He wanted me to help you,"

Rodko's expression doesn't change at all as he simply stares at him. He then starts walking away towards the curved slope.

"I'll have someone come confiscate the gun and then Ava will come show you around," He says with the wave of a hand, "Until then, stay where you are,"

He whistles and a large black wolf that's almost twice the size of a normal one comes running up to his size. He says something to it and it runs on over to John. John holds out the gun and the wolf wraps its teeth around it before running off.

"How cute," John mutters to himself as he folds his arms, "I'm sure my sister would love to have a dog like that…" He glances over at the large tree. The feeling of being watched isn't there. He looks around wondering where Yfen went, and what on earth it even is.

"...a great rage, one that would consume most…" Yfen's words echo in his head. He holds his hands out, staring down at them. His hands felt very strange when he had that sudden headache earlier. He focuses on them as he tries to recall exactly what that strange sensation was.

"Break a nail or something?" Ava chuckles as she walks over to him. John flinches a bit as his focus is broken.

"What? Oh..." He looks down at his hands one last time before putting them down, "I uh, was making sure I got all the dirt off them," He wipes his hands on his pants.

"Whatever you say..." She replies with a raised brow, "Rodko sent me to show you around so, I guess we'll start with the closest thing," She walks past him over to the stone platform with the little rock piles, "This here, is a sort of spiritual stone and where we pay our respects and talk to the caern's guardian spirit, Yfen,"

"Yeah, I think I've talked to Yfen enough today,"

"...You've, met Yfen?"

"Giant greenish dude, twig head, ball of light face? Yeah. He even gave me the, great, nickname of Wyldblood, after talking about the whole, Trait thing,"

"You said you were-"

"I know, I know," John interrupts her, "Apparently I'm both a human and Garou now. Something to do with coming in contact with the Wyrm, but the only worm thing I've seen was in a drugged up dream back in that prison,"

Ava just stands there in utter bafflement, staring at him with wide eyes. She suddenly walks up to him, grabbing his wrist and dragging him towards the curved slope up to the main cave.

"The welcome tour is going to have to wait," She states.

"Can I at least get something to eat first?" John asks as he reluctantly follows, "I'm starving and haven't eaten all day,"
