15 Alone

"I'm going to backup Magnus," Rodko states as he leaves the infirmary, "I want answers," He turns into a white wolf, and runs off.

Ava sees him running out of the infirmary. She walks up to the entrance, seeing Ludmilla treating an unconscious Cahal.

"What the hell happened?!"

It doesn't take long for Rodko to catch up with Magnus. As they travel through the woods, the strong odor of blood catches their attention. It's fresh, very fresh. Following the trail, it still takes awhile for them to find the source. As they get closer, John suddenly emerges from behind some trees, bearing his blood-stained teeth as he lets out a menacing roar.

He startles Rodko and Magnus who both jump back. Upon seeing them, John eases up.

"Leave," John states before turning around. The sounds of bones breaking fills the air and they can hear him eating something. Rodko and Magnus turn back to human before they approach. On the other side of a large rock John sits on the ground, eating a dismembered deer leg.

"We're not leaving until we get some answers," Rodko states as they stop a few meters from him. John puts the deer leg down, swallowing the food in his mouth before he talks.

"About?"

"What did you do to Cahal?"

"He, attacked, first," John replies, unwavered by Rodko's burning gaze.

"Cahal would never do something like that unless he was provoked," Rodko counters.

"He tried, to, shoot, on, sight…" John picks the leg back up and resumes eating.

"You can't just give me a bullshit answer like that then act like we're done talking,"

John lets out a growling sigh before turning back to Rodko and Magnus with an intimidating glare.

"Ask Cahal, when he wakes up," He states in a more aggressive tone, talking clearer than before, "I'm in no mood, to be around others, so, leave,"

"I'm not leaving until-"

Rodko's interrupted by a loud crack as John crushes the bones in the deer leg with his fist.

"Leave!" He roars as he stands up, towering over them, "I'll return, when I don't want to rip your face apart…" He adds in a calmer tone before sitting back down, closing his eyes and taking deep breaths. Rodko goes to say something but Magnus grabs his arm. He turns and Magnus shakes his head looking at him with worried and pleading eyes.

Rodko glances back at John before turning around much to Magnus' relief. The two head back to the caern, John finally left alone once more.
