15 Gao Longwei Realizes He's A Sinner

Gao Longwei stayed at a safe distance of around 50 meters behind Feng Jiao, albeit in his car. He stared out of the window to look at what exactly she was doing.

His ice cold glare would make someone think he was furious, but secretary Lan knew that his boss was just focusing. Focusing on his pretty mate who had just beaten him up and then run away. It was almost pitiful.

Secretary Lan couldn't help but think why his boss didn't have a little more pride.

Why would you chase after a girl who beat you up, dropped books on your head and then pepper sprayed you before leaving. She didn't even check if he was alright after doing all of that.

But to be fair, if Feng Jiao was going to be concerned about Gao Longwei after beating him up, she probably wouldn't have whacked his skull in to begin with.

However, Gao Longwei was past the point of redemption.

He was going to go all the way and do his best to win Feng Jiao over. There was no questioning it. He had the confidence, the looks, the money and the moon goddess on his side. Or so he thought.

"Where's she going?" Gao Longwei asked secretary Lan in a hushed whisper. His face was eager to the point where secretary Lan wondered if he had picked up a man who wasn't his boss. His boss wasn't uncool like this. At least that was what he thought until now.

Maybe Gao Longwei had lost a screw or two after his head was shattered by his violent mate.

For a violent man, a violent mate was the best match. Perhaps this was Gao Longwei's karma. All of the people he had directly or indirectly killed because of his arms business were probably the reason why he had gotten a mate that would kill him before even considering dating him.

It was depressing for Gao Longwei, but there was no one to feel pity for him, since he was a slave driver of a boss who expected nothing but perfection from his employees.

It wasn't surprising that secretary Lan felt like clapping when Feng Jiao was hitting him.

Even now, secretary Lan felt like Feng Jiao should've beaten him up harder. That would've been very fulfilling, and he wouldn't have to be stalking Feng Jiao right now.

"It looks like she's going to school?" secretary Lan whispered back to Gao Longwei. The cause of the whispering was obvious. Part of it was the stalker mood and part of it was the feeling that if Feng Jiao was to hear their voices she would run over like an evil spirit and beat them up.

For a student Feng Jiao was quick on her feet, light footed, strong and violent.

She'd taken down Gao Longwei with a single kick, and Gao Longwei was a good foot taller than her.

'It's like she has the killer instincts of an assassin…' secretary Lan's thoughts had unknowingly hit the nail right on the head.

"School?" Gao Longwei was extremely confused. His forehead scrunched up and his sharp eyes almost bored a hole into secretary Lan's face.

"She was wearing MingXi highschool's uniform, was she not?" secretary Lan asked, ever so slightly puzzled.

Usually it would be his boss pointing these things out, since he had a sharp eye for the things going on around him, but it looked like his brain was completely fried.

"So she's a highschool student? Isn't that a bit young-" Gao Longwei thought about his questionable proposal and what could be assumed to be stalking and harassment from a few minutes ago.

It appeared he had been harassing a minor.

Gao Longwei was a law abiding citizen to the extent that an arms dealer could be. He certainly didn't expect Feng Jiao to not even be a legal adult. She did look slightly mature for her age, despite being short.

Perhaps it was her hair, or her gorgeous features, but Gao Longwei hadn't stopped to think then, and as a consequence he had no choice but to think about it now.

"I suppose so. She could be any age from 15 to 18." secretary Lan decided to finally kill Gao Longwei off with one final blow, "It would be odd if you were to be stalking a fifteen year old. Perhaps the werewolf hunting agency would come after you for being a pedophile-"

Gao Longwei was absolutely crushed internally, but he wasn't going to let his snarky secretary win over him just like that. That would be simply ridiculous.

With a hardened heart he spat out his cold words, "Turn back, we're going to go work."

Secretary Lan couldn't help but feel bad for a few seconds, but he didn't exactly have the type or energy to deal with his boss's new mood swings.

His boss used to have one singular mood, cold.

Now that he was finally showing other emotions, all the positive ones were toward a psycho young lady who beat him up, and all the negative emotions seemed to come out around his employees who worked night and day for him.

Secretary Lan could only listen to his boss. It wasn't like he could say: "No, we're going to stalk that violent young lady, who is definitely a minor, and then you are going to finally explain things to her."

Secretary Lan quietly turned the car away from where Feng Jiao was walking, and back toward the office, to the work his boss had been skimping on for the last week. Someone had to do that work, and secretary Lan didn't want that someone to be him.

So as the engine revved for a second, secretary Lan shot his boss a look full of pity. His boss was staring out of the window expressionlessly, that cold expression secretary Lan had gotten used to was plastered on his face.

Somehow, despite none of his boss's emotions showing on that cold face, secretary Lan thought he looked sad.
