3 Unah

"That was Haruna."

"And i'm Anju." An orange, curled at the tips haired boy, also wearing faded and torn clothes.

Then there was McKaria, a dark-skinned blond-haired girl with a bob cut and blue werewolf ears (and for some reason of pink dog on her head). Ausu told me that she like to be called Mackey for short. they would have called her Mickey but she refused to allow us to call her that...

"Oh so Maki it is done!" Merribelle confirmed.

"And that's Cari." Ausu announced. Cari had blond hair that reached her shoulders and gray werewolf ears.

"That's Echoi, but we call him Echo."

Echo had silver hair and glasses and blue eyes, and his werewolf ears were also silver. "Hi."

"I'm Duna," Duna announced. she was a tan skinned, red-eyed, girl of fourteen, with blond hair done up in two buns on the top of her head, and wearing a headband of roses. Her werewolf ears were tan, and she had bangs." I was bitten about 2 years ago, I think...," Duna continued. "If I remember right."

"And this is Nicolu. He was the second to get bitten, so we've been best friends since like... forever. He's like a thief in the forest if you ask me."

I giggled, because that was the same impression I had gotten from him. 'A thief in the forest.'

"I'm Evelyn, and that's my little sister Arelia." Evelyn announced. She was a bold African American girl, with short, curly purple hair, bangs, and red werewolf ears.

"I'm not THAT little," Arelia hissed back. "I'm only a half a year younger!"

Arelia looked remarkably like her sister: same hair color, haircut, and werewolf are color, except that she had a large pink bow on her head, and looked a great deal younger. I would have guessed she were 10 if Ausu hadn't just whisper to me that they were both 13.

"And that's Lauruna." Ausu told me.

"Hi." Lauruna announced putting out her hand and smiling.

I shook it enthusiastically, smiling back.

Lauruna had a small Matt of light blue hair, long bangs, a magenta rose rosette in her hair, purplish red werewolf ears, and bright green eyes that gave me the impression of ultimate happiness.

"And there's me! I'm an alien!" A red-haired pink skinned girl with glasses and orange eyes announced. She even wore Hi-Tech blue armor, and a necklace of...

"Dog teeth?"I asked her, thinking about those poor dog.

"No. They're beezo teeth." She told me.

" What's a 'beezo'?"I asked.

"I don't know!" The alien girl announced.

I was shocked. "Wait whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa."

"What? I can't possibly remember what all the different aliens are called can I?"

I was still staring at her, dumbfoundead until I came to my senses, and asked: "What's your name again?"

"I'm Yuhnua."

"And you're a real ALIEN?" I asked, not trying to hide my surprise.

" Yep. My kind are called the 'Fijii'. My spaceship crashed in this forest, then werewolves came and surrounded me. I can show you my ship if you like..."

I was about to reply, saying I wanted to, because I mean seriously! Who DOESN'T want to see an alien spaceship? But Ausu cut me off.

"Maybe later, Yuhnua. First we have one more person to introduce----."

I sighed sadly, as I tried to picture what her spaceship would have looked like.

But just then I turned around to meet the last person in the Werewolf Tribe, and saw...

"And that's..." Ausu began, but I cut him off.

"Unah? Is that you?" I asked.

Unah had long red hair and bangs, and the most beautiful understanding amber eyes that I had ever seen. A black headband, and brown werewolf ears.

"Sister?" Unah asked, stepping towards me.

"Yes. It's me, Merribelle."My heart thumped hard in my chest. I couldn't believe it! My long-lost sister!

feelings flooded over me and my eyes glaze to tears.

"I'm so sorry Merribelle! I should have been there for you! but I let you down. I promised myself I would protect you, but I broke that promise. I wasn't there for you when you needed me most, at such a young age, I-." Unah's eyes filled with tears, and they drip down her cheeks rapidly, letting out all her regrets, showing all her sorrows.

"It's okay, sis," I tell her reassuringly, giving her a hug. "It's not your fault-."

"But it is!" She cried.

"But you can't escape fate no matter how hard you try. But you can't change it. And that's what you did." I tell her, and I'm even surprised at myself at how wise it sounds.

Unah looks surprised at me for a moment, then she smiles, accepting my response.

Okay. I think I have some explaining to do...

When I was three, our dad died. He died in a car accident on his way to work. He worked for the government, so this was a pretty big deal... at least that's what I thought at this age. Since I was so young, I never knew exactly what he did, just that he worked for the government.

After the funeral, Unah ran off into the woods, crying. I told her not to enter, but she wouldn't listen, telling me to go away.

I remember trying to convince her: "Please, Unah! Don't do this. Do you know what forest this is? It's-."

"I don't care!," I remember her shouting at me, letting out all her anger and misery on me. "Dad is gone, and there's nothing I can do!" I remember seeing her tear-stained face, and I could feel all her misery and anger welling up inside her, growing stronger and stronger until I was afraid she would burst, then she whipped around, and raced off into the Dark Forest.

That was the last I ever saw of her, and I remember crying for her when she didn't come back.

Our whole family believe she was dead, even our mom, but not me. I refuse to believe it.

I always hoped she would show up one day on our doorstep, and an announce: "I'm okay, now."

But as the years went by, I gave up hope on that dream, but I never truly gave up on the thought that she was still alive.

I remember her break haunting her tear-filled gaze as I looked at her for the last time. (Or so I thought).

But now, I felt as if my heart would burst with happiness. Finally something has gone right in my life!

I always wondered what had happened to her. She was the best sister ever, and I never had imagined we'd ever be separated.

But now that I'm a werewolf, I guess I have no choice but to join this tribe. Not that I don't want to join... my sister's here, and so is HE.

A picture of Ausu appeared in my mind, but I shook my head to clear it. I was being silly.

I can't believe it's been 12 years since Unah left, because i'm 15 now... and now, 12 years later we are reunited...
